The greater dogs are awesome companions when they level up. Pro tip is to feed them Abyssal Flesh for the best strength chance, as they get 10% bonus damage per point. (Their perk set was clearly created by someone who loves dogs, as they are the best perks in the game.)
@@ogbird1854 There are several camps, but the one I like best is right in the top corner, in the northeast. There's a little bluff just east of the wolf vault, and a small camp. There are a few Stygians (almost always a Cook II and a smelter). There are two Playful Pups in that camp. You just need to give them Exquisite Meat to get them to mature.
Should mention that the neutral pirate camp of merchants will not attack you yes, but they will attack your follower/pet. Guard Area and Guard Me will have them target pirate if you accidently hit them with running horse. And the default Attack All will target them anyway so best set it to attack nothing temporarily or leave it scouting outside the camp if needed. I recommend M12, north west corner of it as there is a small 3 person camp with no traps that has 2 playful pups walking around for those named dogs.
I was going to mention that you can pick up these two pups with almost zero danger North of the Den of the Wolfmen in M12 . You can also set your follower's behavior in the radio menu and tell them not to attack anything, as well as many other behavior attributes. Just don't try running through otherwise friendly mobs mounted.
Yeah just don't ride your horse in a neutral area. Its not needed and its a hazard. But yeah that playful pup spot is where I go to get mine. Out of 6 pups I have 4 unique and 2 copies. Also to note, while the named dogs are all "greater" class animals they all have locked in perks and not all are great. Basically you have 3 good ones a middle man and 3 less then desirable ones. With Siptah, certain resources are more easier to get than other. The heavy leather and steel tend to spawn in the chests quite a lot, that I have an abundance of it.

I recently started playing this game ,it took me about 4 hours to build a 6 squared hut (no roof ) ,it had enough room for my store box, my rug and a camp fire I was so proud of it . So I came on RU-vid to see if I could find any tips and I find out people build full on castles now I'm ashamed to turn game on again
Awesome though Iwould say the East side is better to settle for three reasons, the one skull yeti monsters give really easy skeleton keys for legendaries and the only thing ion the west is really hard 3 skull bosses, the vaults are by and large much easier on the east compared to the west and the final reason is purges, along the entire east side you can get human purges and even the monster yeti purges so even more keys, while on the west only the south west can have human purges while the north west at time of writing is impossible to get human purges.
@@KiahOnFireOfficial 'Riots' Thats the kind of thing they don't need to change, changing the purge areas is what they should be doing, its so bad on the west.
just got the game yesterday with all of the DLCs... leaving ARK behind. I played with 2 different start locations to see which id prefer... I got attacked at both starter camp locations on sight, whereas kiah did not get attacked. did i do something wrong? ive never played before.

The only server I was able to play with my friends in a decent ping had a bunch of grown babies that kill you for absolutely no reason when you spent 12 hours, your first hours of game you know, I don’t even know how to build yet, and they killed all our animals, they fucked everything up and I am so mad I don’t even want to play the game anymore.

What you playing on PS4/Xbox/PC just asking I'm looking for nice friends to play with on Conan exiles I have my own server for people who like to join and not kill people like crazy.
If you have one it will walk a short distance from the cage and set itself to guard mode. If you do not want it I reccomend breaking bond with it, if you do, walk to a nearby safe area aka no enemies, tell your current thrall to stop followinbg you, it will go into scouting mode, 15 minutes later it will go back to where you last Placed it, presumably your base or near the wheel you broke it, Then go get the guarded cage thrall and get it to follow,. Remember! Set the former cage thrall to guard at some place near your base or where you want it, as when you log out or get it to stop following its guard place was near where you got it, so you need to set a new one. Hope that makes sense.
@@LaszloIvanyi personally I have seen 1-2-3 and bearers of similar mix, I have not seen any named t4's myself but I have been told that they can also spawn.

And couldn't you give reasons not to visit leyshrines? Why do you bother to capture video of you using cheats, doing EVERYTHING INADVISABLE while claiming to share informative tips? Missed the most important tip: "If it looks interesting, it's going to kill you. So put a bedroll down."
