If you're like me, you distinctly remember honey as the kryptonite of Winnie the Pooh. WtP didn't mess the hard stuff. He was rendered helpless by honey; they even caused insane dreams that were akin to something you'd associate with an acid trip. Needless to say, honey is addicting, especially because it's so good for you! While I wouldn't advise consuming at entire pot in one sitting, eating a a tablespoon of honey a day can do wonders for your immune system.
Honey, as a matter of fact, is a relatively inexpensive yet potent ingredient that can be incorporate into your beauty routine! I say "relatively" because if you opt for manuka honey from New Zealand, you can end up shilling out $30 for a small jar. But is it worth is? Surely. Honey has antiseptic and antibacterial properties which make it a great face mask and face wash, it's great for healing burns, cuts and soothing eczema, and can even get your regular... should that be a problem for you.
