Nice trip report, very informative and clearly narrated. It is also interesting to see you do a return trip in one video. As an Avgeek, in an A350-1000, I will never feel fatigued for 16 hours, even in cargo hold! 😁 Also I noticed that your subscription is nearing the 1000 milestone, and I have just happily given you a boost. Keep the good work.
Thanks for the comment! I’m glad you enjoyed it! This is actually not the tripreport! You can check those in the channel, and will see there is one for the outbound flight and one for the return! This is more of a recap of my experience flying BA long-haul. Also, thank you very much for the sub! Much appreciated!
I visited B.Aires for a week back in the 90's when BA used 747-400's on the route direct. The A350 is lovely. Not flown in the Econ cabin only flown in the Club World Suites which if you ever get the opportunity to experience I am sure you will love it. We loved B.Aires and hope to visit again at some point. We used to live in Madrid in 90's too & we often flew the Lon - Mad / Mad- Lon route on Aerolineas Argentinas when they had the 747-200's. They flew BA-LHR-MAD-LHR-BA. As I remember they had these weird blood red leather seats. So long ago now...
In my experience, the Economy product was fine, especially the seat. Then I have no idea about Premium Economy or Business. Didn’t have the chance to fly them yet!
I honestly don’t remember the price of a checked bag, but you can check it on BA’s website. In our case, we were a big group so they did let some of us escape with some overweight, but I don’t think they do that with everyone. In a normal passenger’s case, it will depend on the agent I would say!
Mate, what is your height? I was paying attention to the part of the video where you were showing the legroom, and if I know your height, it will give me an idea of the space in it for myself.
Why do they not allow people to get off and stretch their legs during that 2 hour layover? Surely they could restrict people to a certain section of the terminal? Aer Lingus used to allow you off the plane in Shannon during US to Dublin flights when they made a stopover. Although that might have been to let the flight attendants have a cigarette in the terminal. 😁
I really don’t know what the reason for that is. Apparently, other airlines do allow their passengers to disembark in similar routes with other final destinations, without having to go through Brazilian customs, so I don’t know why BA does not allow it.
No I never flown on this A350 but on their 777 to Jamaica and the Nassau Bahamas and the 747 to new years , but I love your honesty bless in Christ Jesus name amen
I am 1.80m tall. For my height, legroom was pretty good, even more compared to what you get onboard other aircraft. However, you being so tall, I’m not sure you’d fit comfortably in any Economy Class seat, but these ones are in average quite good I would say.
