I have severe acne and I used to always try to cover it but now I started to keep my head high and started to love myself the way I am. I stopped trying to change anything about myself. If people like me because of my appearance then I dont need them. Having self confidence made me feel happier and more positive. That's what a glow up actually is. No need for makeup or surgery to make others jealous, you just need to be happy in being yourself.
glad you brought up the whole thing where people will put pictures of themselves as literal middle schoolers and then show themselves when theyre in their early twenties😭 like thats growing up not glowing up
2:38 Facts! don't think that you're ugly, no you're beautiful but we just live in a judgmental society. Also If you want to change, change for yourself not for others! :)
Honestly most of the girls look stunning but why do they always have to put on either filters or surgery when you already look sooooooo good? I think it can convert the wrong message. We all already have enough insecurities so why do we constantly point out our appearance. Especially for the people who suffer with acne. It's not like they can really change it
Yeah a lot of them were pretty in the first place, just not Airbrushed Insta Model Pretty. Which isn't even real anyways. Idk that made me a lil sad :( Edit-- if they're happy they're happy, I think my favorite one was seeing the girl who was proud of her skin clearing up, I just agree with you saying the filters and surgery adds onto a rough message about changing yourself to appeal to ppl sexually
Right? Those lips look not cute. Angelina Jolie's big lips look amazing because they're real and don't look like they're about to burst. Most of the ones here looked like two sausages. Big, small, medium. All lips look great when they're in harmony with your face. Most of these were not.
Yeah but some people really need surgery for them to be happy. If they're really insecure it can be a solution that you want it or not. When insecurities stop you to live your best life of course it can be a solution. What you find "pretty" is not for everyone.
Your fan grandma here..you are such a sweet and respectful guy,and all these people basically need to remember that for the right person ,(and they Are out there!) You will be be cared for by the right person for your natural self- inside and out!
I got told by so many people "your so skinny gain weight" and I just said ye I will do and the next time they ask me I say oh yeah I am not doing what YOU want
Ryan u don’t need a glow up u are perfect just the way u are. Like bruh if u become more handsome then u already are Istg idk what imma do other then burry myself Stay safe Ryan we love youuu❤️
Hi,you make a good point and it is good that you make others aware. I used to care a lot about other people's opinion, I used to change myself according to their criteria, according to their taste only I was not happy because of it, I was not satisfied with myself. People will always talk and criticize, but I have learned over time that it is not worth worrying about it and do your own thing :)
I feel like trauma gives ppl the motivation to change. If it wasn't for rejection and the pain that comes with it, these ppl wouldn't have had these "glow-ups". Like are they better off for it?
It's not like they are changing because what the society tells it's because they want to change themselves to make themselves happy.. Even I was criticized about how I look, like I was so fast but after I hit puberty I changed myself for me, like fir me to think " I am beautiful for myself " .. So i understand that you wanna tell be yourself, but if it's their wish to change we should encourage them 🥰🥰
I'm just an old mom but only" glow up" for yourself nobody else! In my honest opinion a glow up would be to have more patience, listen to ones worries and just be nice to everyone.
"I now know why I didn't get a glow up, I never approached girls like that and never got "You'r not my type" " Damn I now know too my reason of No Change! I never approached any boy like that!
