You do fantastic work. That took some real detective work to find the exact issue to avoid the same thing in the future. I hope that Ford gets your feedback so they can make changes to protect exposed wires on future models.

I had the bare copper wire on the sensor wire too presumably causing the MIL. I however was unable to unplug the 8 pin connector and instead pulled the sensor controller apart.

Takin my 2015 F250 in tomorrow for my apt for P24C7 , P0544 , and P2031 as well as 21E01 and 21M01 recall and CSP. Although the guy told me one of those isn’t valid anymore 🤷‍♂️ but I’ve got the platinum extended warranty jank so it’ll cost me $100 deductible even if it’s not. Oh plus my backup camera and proximity alerts failed completely and the cam seems to just be after it rains for couple of days. Already replaced the line from the frame to the camera through the tailgate and didn’t fix it so either the cam itself or the main line. At any rate, I’ll be in a loaner for awhile, but I’ve got an 8” BDS suspension lift so he won’t have too hard of a time underneath my girl lol

I was told at Ford school that the SRC is flipped due to 4x4 transfercase clearance.

The front and rear are different!. The front sensor has bigger openings than the rear, different part numbers too.

Arod can you explain what the purpose is for each EGR sensor? I understand they measure exhaust temperature but what is the computer using each sensor for? Also how do you test NOx sensors? How do you force the exhaust system to have higher or lower NOx to test the accuracy and/or response of the sensor?

I changed the bank 1 sensor still not working? Pressure sensor problems ? Or fuse problems any help?

Arod, i have a 2018 F350 6.7 and have a P20EE code, dealer just did the TSB and about 20 miles later, the light came back on, I'm good at working on vehicles and wouldn't mind replacing the sensor myself, any idea where to start? I guess my question is, are all the sensors from bank 1 to 4? thanks!

I have a 15 550 with a P2201 NOX. Sensor circuit range performance, Bank 1 Sensor 1. Have you seen this code with a failed sensor?

Hello my friend after the code p2201 pop up I toked the truck to the dealer and it was the nox sensor than they check again and said it only needed to be reprogram it is normal.?should I go ahead and change the sensor ? This is f 250 platinum 2013 60.000 miles power stroke thank you

Mabye you could help me. Why on the cab and chassis does the exhaust go catalyst DPF SCR. But pickups go catalyst scr dpf. In my mind that’s bad idea your constantly getting wet spot for pickups.

I got bank 1 sensor out parameters on 19 f750 my brother has shop and computer I have warranty but I have 4 hour round trip I see parts geek has some for less than fuel for trip just wanted to be sure that’s what it is or should I run it to the dealer I just did nox sensor on ram 2 bank it’s not worth the down time if that’s all it is

What are you doing to the Transit 3.2L that you have the CAC, CAC support, engine dress cover, A/C compressor, starter and coolant bottle removed from? The reason the cab and chassis trucks and pickups have the SCR mixer and DPF reversed is because Ford didn't want the DPF to be under whatever was to be upfitted to the chassis due to concerns of heat. Or so I was told.

Are both NOX sensors the same part number?

Are all four EGT the same part number?

would this be at all similar to a p2201? I'm getting that code but I can't seem to find much on it other than NOx sensor bank 1, so basically just doing the same thing you did here. I did check the wires though, I didn't see any rubbed through like that truck in the video

I have this code coming up in my 2017 250. Bank 1. If I pull the sensor and clean the soot off it and try that before I replace the sensor what is safe to use to clean it? Can I use brake fluid? No signs of chaffed or corroded wires . Thanks in advance

Just watched this video, I have another code on my 2013 P220A, I had the truck straight piped and now with all the equipment back on, this is the only code that persists. The connectors are clean. What else should I check, can the sensor go bad just sitting in the exhaust for 3 years?

Would you put some wire loom on to protect it in those areas that it rubbed through or secure it with zip ties, other?

When does the DEF actually get injected. All the time? Only during regen?

Diesels hit there prime. Thanks to the epa coming up with this garbage many people are going back to gas pickups. Who wants to pay for unnecessary repairs and down time when the emmisions shit craps out? All it accomplishes is problems not solving anything. With a clean tune and the low sulfur diesel you can pass emmisions no problem.

Too much shit hanging under the truck, should be a 4 inch pipe from the turbo back. What happens when these trucks are out of warranty and you have to pay out of pocket to fix that 15,000 dollar exhaust system.

Way too much shit connected to an exhaust pipe..lol

Why did you not repair it? It is designed to fail. they are in the parts business!!!
