Never drink dirty water. 46W 26S is a good place for building a camp as well. Fishing and hunting increases your sanity. Don't carry things that you don't need at the moment. Red and blue mushrooms kill parasites. If it looks poisonous, it probably is (congrats for having functional survival instincts btw). You're not a cow so don't eat leaf (unless you're sure it's beneficial). Coconuts are probably the best items in the game. And always start a fire under a ceiling
Last night I was playing this game for one of the 1st times…I ate a spider and started tripping tf out. Then I killed a tribesman with a bone dagger and died shortly after.
