In Urdu, are the meanings of warm and hot the same as "gharm"? When people express whether(temperature), Are "It's hot(یہ گرم ہے)" and "It's warm(یہ گرم ہے)" same?
Hi there! Yup, it`s actually the same, but if we wanna emphasize the whether is hot not something elso, so we can add the word 'دن' before 'گرم'... آج دن گرم ہے۔
Hi there! We can`t use 'نے' here, coz we use 'نے' with the Intransitive Verb. Hence Climb isn`t an intransitive verb (in Urdu), so we didn`t use 'نے' here... I hope it might be clear 😊
For instance, میں نے آم کھایا۔ آپ نے ہاکی کھیلی۔ اس نے دروازہ بند کیا۔ I ate the Mango. You played Hockey. He closed the door. ⭐ Remember, The particle 'نے' is used only in the Past Indef.
The meaning of climb is to go upward or raise oneself by grasping and clutching with the hands. It sounds like a transitive verb but based on the actual meaning in english it is classified as intransitive verb.
