Hi; It would be nice if you can develope a next generation to have a lead harness to turn it off with an exturnal switch. I think you would have a better sale interest for it. I will still get one though. A very nice product. I have a question. is it a good idea to leave the recharge cable to the unite with out always having to gain access. I was also thinking of making a quick disconnect addaptor for it
I understand you have to turn it on before you assemble your aircraft. If you are out for a day of flying, do you then leave it on while you are at the field and then turn it off when you disassemble your aircraft? I know you don't intend for the modeler to disassemble his aircraft after each flight to turn the pump off, then turn it back on before the next flight and reassemble the aircraft.
You will have to have your pneumatic system fully assembled prior to turning the pump on. Once the pump is on, it will monitor your PSI between 80-100 psi. Once you turn the pump off, for the screen to go dark, you will need to release the PSI to 0. If you are worried about battery life and want to turn the pump and screen off, you can easily obtain this by putting a quick disconnect between the pump and your system. Then before each flight, you will simply connect the quick disconnect and turn the pump on. However, I would suspect that this would use more battery than simply keeping the display on. I hope this answered your question.
