very nice, that key way is quite intimidating, at least to a beginner like myself. I have yet to try any Euro locks but feel I'm close to to trying one. Thanks
Great pick! I just received one from a friend and it looks like its going to be a tough one. the keyway is a bit tighter than my yale locks and the bitting couldnt be better.
When you say tolerances are good in this lock.... I think.... Obviously yours were way better... Damn near walked right through it. Good show! I'm still new, but it's pretty cool how one can start to feel the difference in quality.
Thanks. As for the effect of tolerances on picking, if you are interested, take a look at how I picked the spool in slot 2 again (roughly, 2:20). You don't see the casual allowance of counter rotation that you would see when I pick a Master Lock spool. You see me pulsing the picking force and tension, allowing tiny bits of movement at a time. I have to be very, very careful, or I will drop other pins... sometimes I drop other pins no matter how careful I am.
+LockPickingLawyer Ahh yes, I've noticed that technique before, well executed. I get the concept, doing it takes practice. I just received a Hurd padlock, it loves dropping pins kind of like that.
Super picking sir, very controlled and precise picking😘😘😎👍🔓🍻 I have experienced this make of lock and those spools need to be handled carefully otherwise your going to drop pins😩🤔😬
Thanks. That's my experience as well. Take a close look at how I set the spool in slot #2. You rarely see me being that careful with setting a spool. The tolerances are excellent!
