I found your channel when I needed the most help. I was really depressed after having broken up with my girlfriend of 7 years and I’d given up on myself. My life was a mess and it reflected in my environment at home. Until one day I said “Enough of this!” And I looked up how to organize and clean my room. And I saw your thumbnail and said “This is it. She looks like she has her stuff together!” And I cleaned along and organized and subscribed and I’ve never regretted it one bit!

She is a really good person to look up to for that stuff! I also use her videos for depression and just general tips for home cleaning and beauty. Another channel that makes me feel so happy, and you may like too, is Do It On A Dime. She always ends videos by telling you that "you are enough". I don't feel like I hear that a lot bc I have become lonely in life, and hearing that makes me happy. Brittany and Ryan's skits are amazing too, and I look forward to them to have a laugh :)

My dad has taught me a great lesson. Never leave a room empty handed, if it goes in the bin or dishwasher and is not where it should be kept, pick it up and put it where it should be. Dirty glass/mug in your bedroom pick it up and put it in the dishwasher, dirty clothes in your room? Pick it up and put it in the wash bin. Never leave a room empty handed and it’s excluding your phone!

Beyonce was born into an entertainment family and her business has been handled by professionals since she learned to walk - she has maids, nannies, assistants and design teams. You do not have the "same" 24 hours. No-one that has an assistant has the "same" time as someone who does not. Please don't compare yourself to someone who has been given more than you; you're incredible!

Jumping off your smoothie hack - portion it into a pint size mason jar and then use a stick blender to blend it. You can use the jar as your cup so you don't need to wash the reusable baggie or the blender. You can just stick the blender head in a cup of soapy water for a few seconds and you're done!

Laundry tip: everyone in the house hold has their own laundry hamper/basket. DON'T MIX PEEPS CLOTHES. Then you can just take the basket back to their room/area and you don't have to sort where everything goes to in each load. ⭐

Yeah same here. All my clothes are transfer proof anyways so as long as you don't wash them at super hot temperatures, colours don't bleed

Ive tried this hack before. I feel like over time the color catchers fade your clothes a lot faster. Now I just mix together and keep pure whites and reds separate. I only use color catchers for those "oops" times (ie. when you missed something red and it turns your white load pink). I washed a pack of hot pink posit notes in my nursing school uniform one night. NOTHING got out the hot pink stain except those color catchers - saved me!

I found your channel after buying our house and we had to renovate it our selves to save $$. It took 9 months, and I was searching RU-vid for ideas on how to organize it better, and declutter since it’s smaller than my previous house! My time saver for family laundry is to have a basket for each family member. My kids brought their own laundry down. As you take each piece out of the dryer, fold it and put it in the right basket (or pile). No sorting later and handling things twice. Family members can take their own basket back and put it away if they are old enough.

We don’t even fold kid laundry. They typically don’t show wrinkles if you stuff shirts/pants in the drawers anyway. Choosing not to care what other people say you should do is the biggest time saver 😉😆

But maybe you have people around you with whom you can swap tasks that improve both of your time and/or money management. If one person is better and faster at ironing the other can e.g. go shopping groceries at their regular shopping day and deliver it while collecting the ironed laundry. Whatever you are good at. Just a suggestion, but you don't always need money to outsource things. Use the "currency" you have on hand. ♥️

Thanks for the tips. A friend introduced me to one touch decades ago. Still have not mastered it. For years, when I walked solo, I listened to music or a book. Now that we are retired, we usually walk together 3 days a week. It is so much more satisfying to share what we see and talk about whatever is on our minds. Hope you get to do that someday!

Then, I starting searching for more organization videos such as; pantry, garage and kitchen. That’s when your videos started showing up. I found your channel when i was so depress about life and i was so really down that no one is there for me and during that time i was scrolling in my youtube to look for something funny to watch to atleast gave me life/motivation. I found you when I was pregnant with my son (and so were you)! I found that every recommendation of yours that I tried was bang on. Later, I suffered a miscarriage and then gave birth to a daughter 6 months ago. It's been very comforting to watch your videos and to hear from someone I relate to.

I found your channel when I worked at Southern Arizona association for the blind. I was teaching activities of daily living and you had a lot of good ideas for things I could teach my students. I used your organization tips and cleaning ideas to motivate the kids. I love your channel.

Hmm, while yes we all may have the same 24 hours as beyonce but we don't have all the same resources. She has millions, she has cleaners, nannies, chefs, trainers, assistants etc. All of this gives her "extra" time to do other things.

One Touch is my mantra. There's a RU-vid that I watch that is trying to declutter years and years of stuff and she touches things dozens of times before they go to the trash, donation, storage etc. She just can't see it.

Just since this video was posted, I feel Erika has come a long way. We can all learn from watching someone who is brave enough to put herself out there in this way.

That “one touch” is such a great habit to gain. I will need to work on it! Plus, once clothes have been washed a few times, we just throw them all together. We’ve had no issues! I first found your videos three years ago, they were the videos after you had Carter and you were doing day in the life videos while he was a baby. My son was a newborn and I had some serious postpartum depression. Your videos helped ground me and I enjoyed watching another mom. I felt so lonely at that time and watching your videos with Carter made me feel not as lonely.
