Love these! Especially the peanut butter one! Lol I own a candle company so I knew about the wick dipping, but another hack to make sure your candle lasts longer is to keep the wick trimmed! So you know that bulb that it gets after burning for a while? Just snip it off before you light it again. Also make sure you burn it long enough for the entire top of your candle to be liquid before blowing it out. This prevents tunneling and also makes it last a lot longer! :)
Without a doubt, Brittany has to be THE BEST hacks and tips presenter on RU-vid. She is informative, providing useful and worthwhile input in a genuinely cheery manner, with a pleasant, well-modulated voice. I truly look forward to watching her videos.
I've used hot water to open metal lids since I was a child. The science: the heat makes the metal expand and helps to break the vacuum seal. I like that wick-dipping trick! Also, trimming the wick (to about a 1/4 inch) helps the candle to burn more cleanly/less soot. Thanks for these tips!
I'm 70 years old &I only knew 3 of these hacks. I'm anxious to try out the other 13 hacks now. You're one of my few favorite gals to watch here daily. You do a really good job.
The tip for the bacon was definitely my favorite!! Shrinking bacon is the worst can’t wait to try it! As always great video and love seeing the hubby! ❤️
Love these! Wanted to send you another jar lid hack - Maybe someone already mentioned.. you just tap a spoon or knife (edge of the utensil so the sides are facing up and down) along the edge of the jar lid. You don’t need to go the whole way around just “tap tap tap” and it opens! Love it!!
Yes all my life my mum opened the jars by allowing a bit of air out by pushing gently the tip of a knife under the lid until you hear a small hiss (air out of thr jar). Than it's very easy to open
Bunch of these I didn't know. To cool of my car, I roll the windows down and blast the ac and drive a few feet to get the hot air out. Enjoy your videos! Keep 'em coming!
I love the hacks. Have been flipping my natural peanut butter for 20 years. Actually when I bring a new jar home, I place this in my cupboard upside down even before I need to open it. Also, if it doesn't "drop" to the top of the jar while in the frig, keep it at room temp. for an hour. This will cause the PB to warm a bit and it will flow to the top for easier removal. -Joy
Great tips. I love videos like this. Some more tips; opening jars by popping the seal... place spoon into crease at crimped section and lever action your spoon. Seal popped, jar breeze to open EVERY TIME. Store jars in fridge upside down. Creates an airtight seal so food lasts a lot longer.
How can you always come with such a great hacks?! I definitely love these videos and being an organization freak I love how the cereal boxes look. Can’t wait for the next video!
You are an online friend that makes my life so much easy with your tips… Sometimes I wish if we were related….. Ryan is always a joy!!!Amazing as always!!!🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Love the candle wick "tip." I used to have a little bell-shaped snuffer that went missing 😢. Now I can forget about it and start snuffing the correct way! I've been throwing lids on my candles to contain the smoke and also trimming those split and frazzled wick ends, sometimes to the point of no return! 😕 So excited to try this!
Ryan eats popcorn with a spoon...I eat Cheetos with chopsticks...been doing it for 6 years-no orange fingers. Mila should have done it ...Ashton wouldn't have caught her🤣🤣
This is my favorite channel to watch when I’m buzzed. I keep cracking up at “No more free shows” 😂 it’s so relatable lol Also very relaxing content, not only are the tips fun but also taught quite nicely.
Thank you! I love your content… not sure how you can CONTINUE to find more hacks that we don’t know about! lol 😂 Tell Ryan I ALWAYS use a spoon 🥄 with my popcorn 🍿- it’s a MUST. Also, I like storing peanut butter upside down before I open it, but have issues with oily leaks after it’s been opened. ❤️
Same! I usually just put the top on because I can’t stand the smell of a burnt candle going out, but that doesn’t stop the wick from growing into a giant weird ball on top. Such a good tip.
The peeing thing I definitely learned while I was pregnant the first time and I still do it every time now! This was the first time you mentioned hacks I already use! I discovered soaking my painted nails in a cup of ice water to dry them when I was a kid, and I use the hot water on a jar at least once a week 🤣
I love the ice cream hack! My favorite ice cream is rainbow sherbet, but it freezes hard as a brick! I swear we set it out before we eat dinner to let it soften up to the point where it’s scoopable. I’m going to try the zip lock bags and see if that really helps. Thanks!
Just turned my peanut butter upside down. Thank you for the tips! For peeling an orange, how I was taught and the easiest way, is to cut the top and bottom off then make about 5 slices (top to bottom) in the skin of the orange. Then you have smaller and much more manageable pieces to peel off.
Lots of interesting and useful tips here, so thank you! The only one I knew was about leaning forward when peeing and I was told by a doctor to use a low stool to put feet on when pooping, especially if constipated :)
P.s thank you as well for making it funny as well as interesting after the day I've had it's going to be nice going two bed on a happy note of you jumping up and down doing the towel dance! Just hilarious! Thank you thank you! 😂❤️
I’m sitting here trying to figure out why water makes bacon shrink less lol it really mirrors the shake n bake instructions for pork (soaking in water before coating).
I thought I was the only weirdo that ate cheddar popcorn with a spoon so I don’t get cheesy fingers!!! But I use a serving spoon so I can cram as much as humanly possible into my face
I live alone, so it's come to this: I buy new dish cloths, use as cloth napkins, For sticky stuff, just dampen slightly...boom! My friends have adopted this system, cuz, if coffee (or whatever) spills, u have that 'napkin' at the ready.
Well, I knew the bladder thing with leaning forward. I also knew that running my freshly polished nails under cold water helped them harden/dry faster. And that is all I knew! I’m actually pretty proud I new TWO of them! 😂
I’ve eaten my chips with a fork for over 10 years. My boyfriend and friends, to this day, steady make fun of me. But Ryan is right - no messy fingers! 😁
My husband is a car mechanic and he just about died laughing at your representation how you cool down your car. When he was finally done he asked through his tears: why is she pumping thr car door? :D
BUT??.... If you put the spoon in your mouth then put the spoon back into popcorn?? You are double dipping. If your hands are clean when you grab a bunch, and you use your other hand to eat put the popcorn in your mouth you are less likely to contaminate the popcorn for someone else. Best bet is to pour popcorn into a bowl for yourself.
The skits with Ryan in them are the best! I love that you guys let your personalities shine through. You play off each other and compliment each other so well 👏😊 Thanks for the tips! @injectionsoflove
I'll definitely try turning the peanut butter upside down and putting ice cream in a bag! Thanks for all the tips and tricks you give, they are always so good!! 💛
Girl! Another bacon tip for you, Bake the WHOLE PACKAGE of bacon at one time . Use what you need and the rest put it away in the fridge! No more burnt or sticky pan to wash, and you spend less time and electricity. I do the same with boiled eggs, nevé do I boil just one or two, I boiled 6! And have leftover eggs for the rest of the week. I know! You’re welcome!
I do this! I bake 3 to 4 lbs at a time then freeze. When a recipe calls for bacon it thaws quickly and we throw a couple pieces on the griddle for breakfast. I'm also a southern gal and use my bacon grease often.
Great video! The last one I knew. I have always had kidney issues and urinating with a slightly bent forward has always been the way i go #1. The first one (candle blowing out) blew my mind! ☺️
As a candle maker for my side business. Yes, this is how you put out the candle. Also trimming it is also necessary. Thank you for sharing all these creative ways to learn new ways.
