I get so fired up watching this man play, I used to watch games for the offense but now I tune in for the defense because I don’t wanna miss what he will do. He’s literally involved somehow some way on almost EVERY snap of the game, love that guy.

I came to the comments to say that he better be in the top 10 after last year. Should've been DPOY easily with the 14.5 sacks, 90 tackles, the 24 TFLs, the pressures, the QB hits, the Safety. He's disruptive as anybody has ever been against the run and the pass, and never misses games and never leaves the field. He was the only player last year in the whole league to play when he was listed as Doubtful. In fact, Week 8 of 2020 was the last time anybody else did it.

All the greats are held. Look at Bosa, Garrett etc. Maxx just needs help. The rest of the D line was trash last season.

That "relentlessness" starts with his work ethic. First guy in the building every morning. He doesn't take days off or shortcuts. Leads by example. I feel like #17 is disrespectful to Maxx. Go watch the Raiders vs Rams game last year. He was being held every play. He was being held so much and the zebras couldn't throw the flag every play. It was like he broke the game. The dude is unreal.

Crosby's first season, I was impressed by his motor. Last season ,I was blown away by his motor and technique. Dude has been taking huge leaps every season. A good DT that can push the pocket will make those QB hits into monster sacks.

Hardest worker in the league. There are a lot of guys blessed with better physical tools, but Maxx just outworks all of them. He may end up replacing Howie as my favorite Raider of all time when its all said and done.
