Wonderful, Gary. I tried the Wikipedia with Raycast and tried a search in Indian language Telugu and surprises of surprises it spewed out results in that language. A great help! Thanks a bunch.
I didn't know a lot of that functionality native to Wikipedia. I have a long retired 2008 MacBook Pro that I wrote a script for searching Wiki. It popped up in the Finder and you entered whatever and it would open the appropriate page on Wiki. I didn't think enough of the script to transfer it to later Macs. Worked well, but; I'm not sure if it was faster by all that much.
That's so cool! Unfortunately it doesn't seem to always work. There are a few historic landmarks near me that I know have pages that aren't showing up. Maybe something needs to be specifically set up on the page.
All this depends on whether you trust the source. Wikipedia can be edited by unknown actors with their own agendas. This might not matter if what you want is about Wombats, not so much if it's some form of "information" about something that is influenced by ideology.
everything in Wikipedia is cited and referenced. You can click the small number through the article to see the direct reference. You can then then reference to go to the source where the information came from May Allah (S.W.T.) guide you and bestow upon you His Blessings; Ameen # F R E E P A L E S T I N E
