Visualization for a 17-tone playing on hexagonal button layout.
Midi controller Beeboard.
Created with Magic Music Visuals.
I'm not a musician.
What I play is usually a spontaneous flow of the subconscious.
The scale I use doesn't sound especially micro-tonal, but I like the medieval mood.

Hi there! Love the sound and your playing. Since you're familiar with 17TET, I was wondering if you could help me figure something out: I'm making a "vibraphone" of sorts out of Pringles cans cut to various lengths, and the rack I'm using perfectly fits 18 cans, so I wanted to "tune" them (via cutting different lengths) to one octave of 17TET. My question is, what note should I start from? I've found charts for the number of cents between intervals and such, but for my "first note" do I just pick any standard note and build it up? I'm not sure how to set my baseline given I'm only doing one octave. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
