I agree, he should be charged as an adult, he made a conscious decision to discharge a firearm in a crowd of people that were simply enjoying a day out. Because of his lack of thought, 2 mother's lost their lives. It broke my heart listening to Kevin talk about how he tried to save his wife. That man and father is broken - his children have no mother and his wife's family is distraught as well.

I agree with you... especially the part about fining the parents, but Democrats will never go for that. They want to keep these people down, so that they always get their vote. Criminals don’t care about gun laws, their guns are often illegally obtained and un registered, or stolen from someone. You can change gun laws all you want, it’s not going to stop people , namely, criminals, from getting guns. There are plenty of responsible gun owners who follow the law and who are allowed to protect their families, especially when, under the current administration, the amount of liberal, SJW DA’s and judges refuse to prosecute a litany of crimes, continue to re release criminals over and over, law abiding citizens are the ones that are put in danger.

I lived in Lubbock, TX for three years, only because my dad worked in the ATF. He's retired now, but we had an amazing time living in Western Texas. My mother cried when we left Texas.

I live in a beautiful part of Houston and have never had any trouble in my 70 years. 4th largest city is going to have crime.

Interesting how Colorado, Missouri, Missisisppi, the Carolinas, etc. manage to all beat us in terms of danger, which leads me to believe only a fool would tack all this to party alone. Crime tends to go down in areas where there is a competent police force, something Austin has been slowly getting worse at every year. However, crime nationally speaking has only gone down, specifically violent crime. Even lower than before the spike in violence during Covid.
