This has got to be one of my favorite series to work on and as it concludes I wanted to thank you all for the amazing support, ideas, and for watching! I am a FEIN for nostalgia and facts; and over these past 3 years, I got to talk about the old days and learned a lot myself as well. Compiling this video was a HUGE task because I had to re-edit the transitions... for every entry 😂 BUT... it was worth it, I hope you all enjoy, and farewell to this series! it was a great run.

Dead bases don't go to zero trophies. After a set number of consecutive attacks on your base without you logging in the game stops reducing your trophies

Pekkas spinning as their attack animation was probably changed cuz it made them look WAY too agile even tho they were supposed to be in extremely heavy suits of armor that allowed for basically the bare minimum of mobility. I remember that, logged on the next day, and pekkas no longer spinning had me doing that surprised meme reaction of blinking

Training troops was almost same as today except Supcell accepted the fact that players aren’t that smart to figure out upgrading a certain barracks to a troop level will decrease its time because you can train the same troop in all the four barracks all at once

I don’t know why but the most nostalgic thing for me is seeing the old hero models and animations, though I definitely don’t miss having to upgrade 4 diffrent barracks + 2 dark barracks

7:50 I would say that this is similar to what people claims as 'strategic rushing' today, as they are also trying to maximize their offense and leaving their defense at a low level. However, the past was mainly for war to trick the matching system, but now it's only for personal interest.

I haven't watched this video until the end, yet. But there's something back then only OG Indonesian and Malaysian Clashers remember. Back in the day, there was a clan named Dendam77Beradik with one of its popular player is Angerkey Rikhi (I forgot how it spelled). We called this clan a horror clan because somehow their members could overlap buildings. It became popular because no one could understand how they did it. Thus, makes it seems like creepypasta. And also some speculations that the user Angerkey Rikhi has passed away. But turns out, it was just a bug that made it happen

I remember not researching the some high-level troops because it made them much more expensive. You’d be already farming well below your highest trophy point, so you didn’t need the extra punch, but armies could easily cost >200k elixer. Or worse, it could cost DE! Absolutely unacceptable, research the stuff you don’t use first.

Good old days when lvl 1 Archer Queen costed 40k dark elixir, th9 upgrades took a whole month with only option to skip was gems.. When you had to go from barracks to barracks 1 by 1 and train troops here :D

I remembered back in good old days where we have some group of Clan Members during Clan War that are also not directly in the war are considered Garrison Players. These Players are the support within the clan and the back bone of Clan Castle Donations. Now this is back then where there is no Gem troops donation. But back then, you need to have these guys around and have to coordinate with them within the chat so that we can be effective during Clan Wars. Although it isn’t as important now. I think my Clan still keep this as a tradition, because we got used to this so much that we decided to make it Tradition. But keep it at voluntary. Plus, we keep this tradition so much that we start to recommend my clans to atleast keep the tradition going, and make an excuse like “Save Gems for Building Upgrades” stuff. Oh and during the time where Clan War and Main Base are shared. Our clans decided to make a Unified Adaptable Base (UAB) Basically it is a minor changes but it is adaptable base than can quickly convert into War Base. Yeah good old times. Basically it is simple. Townhall are usually at the center. But in non war time base Resources are at the middle. The base is design with a purpose that. When Clan War take place. You can replace Resource and Town Hall very quickly. This in theory you can have the best of both worlds. Wartime usually last for a day or two at the time. So this convertable is basically design to be convenient on replacing buildings. Now this does have flaws tho. Because this type of base are design to on'y replace resource buildings and Town Hall, which means defenses are pretty much the same. Which also includes the test of the base within the clan. Basically once enemies know the weak point. It all falls apart. It is risky but hey, it is the best we all can do at the time.

God i remember all this, had a hiatus for about 5 years from 2018 to 2023 and i was blown away at how much easier it was to progress. Started when i was in middle school around 2012 and paying for troops was awful. Im th 13 now and have upgraded more in 1 year that those grueling 6 years hahaha. Still had level 5 walls when i logged in last year.

i was trying to remember when in my life i started to play this game, and a lot of thing that have in the video i dont remember bc i was too young, but one thing that used to happen with me was the village music nostalgia, every time after i stopped playing the game for some years, i allways felt this nostalgia feeling, and when i saw in the video the chrismas music i saw my childhood like it was last years, i didn't remembered that it got removed in 2013 but was soooooooooo cool

I'm not sure if this was in any of the videos even if I watched them all and I know it's over but I wanna add another thing I remembered. In the Shield info menu thing, there was a note about when the guard ended, the villagers needed some number of hours (most likely 2) of a personal break. And I couldn't understand that at all when I was younger.

When I used to play from 2015-2018 in that time period, you used to be able to click on the info of any building while is rebuilding from an attack (like right after getting on) and watch the health bar go up. Now you can’t, really weird change

i still remember the day when it was in Beta or Alpha... god damn.. it took me at least 30 MINUTES to find one Base to attack... yes I would see clouds for a solid 30 minutes for it to find a base... and if i didnt attack it.. which most of the times has Hardly ANY LOOT... god damn times have changed.
