Players are not dumb enough to drop a flame flinger within the mortars range ... They would usually send rocket loon or other troops to destroy the mortar anyway

I don't think wizard tower is that bad. Bomb towers don't hit air, wizard tower does. Wizard tower actually helps damage down balloons and when paired with air sweepers, it's pretty good.

I remember 2014 attack, i had like giants without wallbreakers, giants used to easily break level 5 walls but level 6, damn it was headache, the strength difference was so huge
For the mortars alongside increasing their damage and accuracy, how about giving them a merge feature that allows them to target multiple troops (both air and ground troops) like the multi-target inferno tower. But of course it will do less damage that an inferno tower, however can be more effective against swarms like as mentioned before balloons, minions and hog riders; since those troops typically travel in groups.
Fun fact: The home village multi mortars dont do 3x damage, rather it splits up 1 mortar damage into 3 shots. So even if you have it geared up, leave it as a normal mortar
Wizard towers are not that bad. Are good to counter minions and ballons and also are five instead of 2 like bomb towers. You should put cannons instead
maybe they could replace the mortar with a Flak Cannon style weapon; it would make sense for it to still do splash damage _and_ be able to target flying troops with splash damage too.
To fix mortars I think a small buff would be great, I was thinking it could get a sort of ability to make it deal extra damage to something if it only hits the 1 target to basically turn it into a long range canon if it can’t use its splash damage properly but I also think they should give it a merged version similar to the canon and archer tower, to fix the walls they need to make them significantly cheaper, might also be a good idea to let u buy walls from the shop at the max level of your previous townhall, similar to the mortar the air defense should get a merged version which should nerf air strategies and thus buff the walls, the wizard tower is also one of those defenses that should get a merged version which would help aside from that all they really need to do is maybe increase the dps and/or aoe
Maybe for walls you could fuse 2 together to get a Tall Wall that could block air troops. if so they should be able to also be defused, brings new base designs too
Maybe an airburst mortar would be cool. Toggle it like an xbow. Get a bigger circle close to the mortar to fit with the airburst danger and let it hit air troops
Let’s say next th level comes out and you could fuse 2 mortars to become 1 mortars who works like the lava launcher. Targets ground but leaves the ground in flames and those flames could damage air targets.
It be cool if we could make different variants of mortars. Like multi mortar, lava launcher, maybe something unique so that mortars can actually be important psst th 5
Supercell Mortars need a slight boost in HP. Make them all able to be geared up and once something in the air comes within the inner circle(where mortars can no longer target) it should have an air burst similar to the red balloons every 15- 20 seconds.
Well the other half of your comment I couldn't understand but gearing up every mortar with the current geared up mortar would basically kill flame flinger and maybe even siege barracks.
I mean ,okay wizard tower and mortar aren't effective against most troups but it's a key defense against other ..Like bats ,without wizard tower bat's attack would be much much easier .Same with mortar for flame flingers

The mortars are really not useful what's the point off them that do not help like really. The builder base mortar is much better then the 4 in the home village
why do i have a feeling you already said this before, cause i remember that one video where you talked about how garbage the mortar is.....and there are also other really bad weapons, like the spring trap and most traps like the air bomb and regular bombs. feels like you didnt put any effort into this video dawg..... edit: yeah this is definatly a complication like video.....these videos are reuploaded....at least put a [complication] next to it man...also the wizard tower is useful to some degree due to its decent hp but tbh against anything else it sucks ass so its basically a meat shield with spikes
Barbarians and groups of archers can't heal when insta killed by TH15 Max Mortars want to talk about useless defense? talk about air defenses they don't deal splash, they have to be within scattershot defenses and inferno towers, even then they get wiped by a couple lightnings
