(171) Black and white - Reverse flower dip with paper towel

This time I used only black and pearl white. I love soft and gentle look of this flower, but I'm not happy with the shape. Next time will be better. ;)

All my paints are mixed with Boessner acrylic binder and Duffa acrylic primer in 1:1 ratio.

Beautiful! Looks very natural because it's not " precise" to use your word. I prefer natural, rather than manufactured or precise. I paint with one idea always in mind, and the paints always bring me other gifts which I readily accept! It's these surprises or gifts from the paint that keep me painting. Every time I paint I show something I had not anticipated. It's an adventure! Thx for sharing your adventure!

Nature is never perfect, so this gorgeous flower looks even more realistic with the different petals! You don’t need a magic ball, you turn paint into flowers that’s magic!

Absolutely beautiful, like a Dianthus flower! Fiona, your work is uniquely stunning and blows me away. "The trouble with perfection is it is apt to be dull"! Conveyor belt "perfection" is dull. It is the little differences, imperfections if you like, that make hand made articles so pleasing - and therefore truly perfect! Nature's perfection is not like our perception of it. Even identical twins have differences to make each one unique in their own right. You are a true artist, that's why you always aim higher! 😘👏🌟💙

You are the best artist I’ve seen. One reason of course is your artwork. Every time I watch you create I’m in awe of the results. Another reason is the way you talk to us.you explain in simplified terms why you do some things a certain way. Like using a bit more base paint than normal when you use a wet paper towel. You just make things easier for me to understand.

This is so beautiful Fiona. You have to know that all flowers are not perfect, not in paintings or in nature but they are all beautiful. I want to do one with a brown canvas and cream and brown and some pearl white for my flower. I hope it comes out half as good as yours...I would be happy...I love the wet paper dips they are always unique and so beautiful.
