Hey Julie! You go girl, love this cool idea to have a really "posh" paper towel holder!! Lol The chiffon folds turned out so soft and pretty. That Petrol color was a blue tint and not green like first intended but it's gorgeous!! Loved seeing the fur babies, they are just adorable!! Your yard, house, studio and the screen covered outdoor enclosure is just amazing...what an beautiful place to call home and work. Looking forward to the seeing what's next! You could put a knob on the top to match the bottom. You could use a patterned chiffon with ragged edges in the resin and add a piece of costume jewelry. I love the emerald green!

Hi Julie love your creations! I have never done anything with resin and would love to start but my finances are really tight so I enjoy it through you! What I was wondering was since you worry about bubbles when you add things to resin especially chiffon what if you lay the chiffon flat in the mold first then use the stick to pour the resin over it and then create your folds would this control the amount of bubbles more? just a thought keep your creations coming absolutely love your work!!

That’s beautiful. What a great idea to use as a paper towel holder. And a great gift idea. Looking at the backing before you turned it over, it looked like green velvet with the chiffon folds looking like shimmers. Very cool looking.

I'm wondering if you can put the poured resin and chiffon in the vacuum chamber? Use one of your racks to pick it up and carry it around with? It might not bubble up so high in the shallow mold rather than the deep cup? I would line the chamber with plastic in case it does want to escape the mold, lol. Also, how many molds do I have to order to get a puppy instead of a puffy heart?!? I really really really want to play with your fur babies! Love the paper roll holder idea, you always come up with such interesting ideas! ~~~^..^

I am so bummed. Now I wish I would have gotten the live edge tray mold. I got the coaster one. I love the idea you did with the paper towel holder. Still happy with the mold I got from you, of course. It just stinks cuz you want to get everything. Lol. Takes time tho to build up. Speaking of, WOW what a studio and all your stuff you have. My goal but that will be awhile. You are so fortunate ❤️

Julie ....Thank you for the insperation I love the paper towel stand and costers in this theme ......I know some are going to think this is a stupid question but can I use for instance a plastic Tupperware plate as a mold I have his beautiful flower sifon I would like to try before going for a silicon mold (postage to South Africa is high)

When you first turned it over it reminded me of leaves. I bet the Emerald and chiffon around the edges (2nd layer) behind a flower bloom would be amazing. I loved this one!

Try turning your mold over and move closer to edge of fabric so there is less waste. It always bothers me to see so much waste

If you used a pink or red color and then put the chiffon in there, but twisted it in the middle kind of like how you would make a rose/flower on a tie-dye shirt that would look really cool too!!!
