I tried working for a dsp for Amazon but it wasn’t for me, I want to thank you to all of yall that do these so we can get our packages again thankyou Amazon dsp drivers your awesome!!
We have usually around 9 hours of delivery time, our stops vary on distances between. We usually do around 20 stops per hour on average. It's not easy but it is simple lol. I dont know how he is able to video while doing so many stops I would not make it lol. Great video! Stay safe out there! I hate spiders as well.. lol I walked through so many on my last shift lol.
I like the fact the Rivian vans can show u ur route & probably can edit ya route which can make it a bit more time consuming for u instead of going back & forth down then up the same street.
Used to get 200 stop 250 packages all the time little hustle and its easy I always left my van running as well my dsp never cared. I would be done by 6-7 and rescue someone else everyday. Was not for me when I realized I was just doing more work for the same pay
enjoying the videos ..i just left my dsp on monday ...cons about amazon those apts, the app and the heat lol but not a bad place to work for a starter job not for long term
You had to turn around a pass stop 21 & 22 again anyway. If you’d went in order the vans passenger door would be closer to the house front door & you wouldn’t have to click to skip. Just a tip, I’m always tryna make my route as easy as possible 🏃♂️💨 Crazy how many apartments your route has, good luck w prime!
My nav is constantly making me pull up to houses on the left, and for some reason none of the driver doors can be opened from the inside in our fleet. Just on the EVs
I did this in Oklahoma for like 8 months and it was time to go back overseas however I appreciated the opportunity to see what it was like first hand to be a delivery driver and boy look a here I averaged between 150 -175 stops each day I worked. At the end of each day you're done physically but it did keep me in shape and I didn't enjoy the dogs on my route but overall it was a good experience and I met some good people. Would I do it again? Nah...lol
173 stops is that expected to be done in an 8 hr shift? I do flex and my 3.5 hr block will usually have 30-35 stops and it usually takes 2-3 hrs. I'm doing the math and don't see how 173 stops can be done in 8 hrs LOL. Maybe the drops for you are closer together? Sometimes I'll have 2-3 miles between drops
