I've tried the HN 13 grain slugs in my air arms s410 .177 and it likes them, looking forward to trying the 10 grain ones .good video 👍

I’m very interested in trying this out. My gun likes a heavy pellet, but it’s a new gun, I have the HW100, I spent out on it and I’m apprehensive about slugs because I’ve heard a lot about them being not suited for sub 12, and your risking your barrel if you try it, but they’re .40 grains lighter than the pellet my gun favours. I can’t see why they wouldn’t fly well. Opinions welcomed.

I run 177 slugs in my Hw35e and the slugs is 13.5gn and from eyehunter and the 35e loves them and there deadly accurate and up to 35M+ And just as you say very good and that's all it shoots now

ZAN do a 10g slug that you get a faster fps with very soft lead, done a bit of testing with them but not as good as jsb heavy but expansion is incredible, nice review thanks

This was a great video which fills me with hope, I shoot an old Huntsman Mk 2, I detuned it to 20ft/lbs to get a better shot count! Having seen your test I would love to run a slug! When I eventually find some, Northern Ireland, isn’t as Airgun friendly as the mainland, I will let you know how I get on! Have you any advice to give me?

@@racknloadI always watch your page, nice quality videos. I have a question for you, I would be happy if you help me. .22 cal is prohibited in my country. If I buy Uragan 2 (600 mm barrel CZ) .177 cal, can I shoot with a .18-20 gr slug at 900-950 fps? vs cz barrel choke or no choke?

@kricketkricket6737 hi buddy, what county are you in? They should work, give them a try. You may find that quality pellets will work as good. I have a .25 FX Impact and it prefers JSB Hades. 👍

why show the groups at all wen all u do is show them so fast its a blurr...come on dude slow it down and keep the group paper still so the viewers can assess what they are seeing......thanks from your viewers

I came here as I'm looking to try slugs in my AGT Vixen .177 sub 12 (the short) - the 16 Grain slugs... running at average of 615fps... Doesn't that put them over 12ftlbs?

So you did get the slugs mixed up first time around. I still stand by my comment that all they do is turn a .177 into a .22.

@@racknload yes, but I think they are still best suited to long range in FAC. Why not do a comparison with shooting them in one of your FAC guns? That would be interesting.
