Knowing he was battling cancer here and became the new lead singer of Skid Row is incredible. What an inspiration Erik is. I remember seeing him in the swedish idol audition years ago, what a talent.
He actually won Swedish Idol that season, he was my favourite. He then was the leadsinger for H E.A.T for many years before he was unlucky enough to get cancer 😢 But luckily he recovered and got to be the singer for Skid Row, pretty amazing!

I swore 20 years ago I'd never go see skid row without bach, and now I hear this cover and am suddenly looking for when skid row is coming to my area. This dude can fucking sing!! 🤘🤘
@@RIFFRAFF104 I agree with you he is not the Sebastian of the old days, but he is the best replacement I have heard that fits the band and I'm not knocking any of the past singers. Tony Harnell was awesome in TNT but I didn't think he was a great fit in skid row. You are right about Ripper 100%. No one ever thought priest could find someone to fill Halfords shoes but Ripper is a beast!!
Exatly what i said. No Skid Row without Sebastian, but this guy brings back the 90s voice and spirit. Looking forward to see them in November 🤟

Hey T B! Thank you for this compliment. I agree. I'm not Sebastian. I'm just a guy from Sweden who likes to rock and I will do the best I can with what I have for Skid Row and their fans. Personally I consider the vocal performance on Slave to the grind to be one of the best vocal performances in rock history.
@ Erik. I have listened to the gangs all hear track a few more times. I'm really digging it. My buddy Eric worked for MTV and was the first person to turn me on to skid row. I sent a link to him and he loved it. Keep up the great work. If you come to NC I'm definitely going to see your band.
Not very often a band gets a replacement singer that can pick up where the other left off. Been following this guy for a few years now and he's going to be a great fit for Skid Row.

I am super happy that Skid Row has you as their lead singer. You have the best sound of any singer they have had. Since the original lineup. Give em hell dude. I can't wait to see you all in concert. I saw Skid Row in 89 opening for Bon Jovi in Toronto Ontario Canada. Last month they came to my hometown of Burlington Ontario for the sound of music festival. I went to relive my youth not expecting to really enjoy the sound too much. Man was I impressed! Great job guys especially Erik. What a set of pipes!

I watched Erik on You Tube Videos back in the day when i was discovering foreign music (something I still do), then he joined HEAT a band i was already aware of, then I saw him live with HEAT and was blown away by the live performance, now he joins Skid Row, a band i've loved forever!, this is too perfect!!!! i feel i've followed his every step and although i didnt have the nerve to go upto him after the gig to tell him how awesome he was, i'm so glad for his continued success.

Brotha, I am so fuckin proud of you. I'm from New Jersey and I grew up with the guys. I still see and talk to Baz once in a while. And I've seen all the singers come and go. You absolutely fuckin killed it. Fuckin killed it!!! You keep that shit goin and never stop. Do your thing brotha and every fuckin door is gonna open for you. Stay amazing and make smart decisions. Not everyone knows him/heat. They are niche market in the UK for sure. No one outside of dedicated rockers etc know them. Its a shame but its true. If it was the 80s it would be another story but it is what it is. At least people are now looking at him and hearing him. I love Eric, but not sure how long skid row will keep him around. Just popped in to say Congrats on the Skid Row gig! Still miss you in H.E.A.T and I was hoping you'd get back into melodic hard rock...and guess you have! Honestly, I've paid zero attention to Skid Row since Bach left but they have my attention now that they have one of the best vocalists and front men on the planet fronting them! I'm hoping things work out for all involved and they've found a singer they can stick with and make some great new music. I see a Def Leppard, Tesla and Skid Row tour in the future! That would be something!
