Most Sabbath fans forget or hate the Tony Martin era, he’s one of the most unappreciated and underrated metal singers of all time. The Sabbath Martin albums are unbelievable. Erik’s vocals here are spot on! Incredible performance, incredible song! 🤘
I'm 51 and have been a HUGE fan of Skid Row since the 80's. You, my friend, are the perfect replacement of Bach. You do an outstanding Job as the front man. Congrats.
I was just thinking about this very fact. the height, tone, intensity and colour of the sound, makes Erik stands at the very level of the metal gods of all times such as Halford, Dio, and obviously, S. Bach. (which I'm a fan since the 80's) Hardly ever a cover overtakes the original, this is the case.

Dude.........This is just just just......i don't even know what.....As an old Sabbath fan i can't say anything else than this is beyond awesome! Your voice fits this like a glove and we can all see the emotion and passion that you have while sing this. All and all this is AFAIK THE greatest version of this song ever!
First off I think it's so great that you are aware and like the Tony Martin era of Black Sabbath. It's sad that that period is overlooked or looked down upon by many I think. Second you did an awesome job at tackling that song hit all those crazy notes and with gusto. Rock On!

I'm sure you already know (but I'm not sure many others watching this would know) you're singing this a half step HIGHER than the original, which is insane!!! Good work, and I like that your highs actually have heat in them, not a lot of singers do that these days, usually people will go super clean when they go high. You have a different voice than Tony Martin (it's good to sound like yourself), more metal, which is super cool in it's own way, very modern. Also, you have really healthy technique. This is a better cover than others I've seen, great work!

when i heard this song for the first time in 1989 i was only 15 years old.it was incredible, a new black sabbath record, a spectacular song with Tony Martin on vocals. today it seems even more incredible, you resurrected this song in an incredible way, congratulations, you are a great, great, spectacular vocalist and the musicians who play with you are also great.

Also, one of your partners-in-crime Dave D, blows off a nice guitar solo. Technically it's a masterpiece as I see it, but it's the "hang" and the harmony changes towards the end that really lifts it. Proof of sensitivity, musical maturity and inventivness. Hats off!

One of my favourite Sabbath song, you killed it and your lyrical range does it justice. Great to see you in Burlington, Ontario ripping up the stage and giving Skid row a fresh energy, but also slaying those songs and keeping them real. Cool that you wanted to cover something from the Tony Martin period. He was a very underrated singer, which is so unfair, he made great albums and great songs with Black Sabbath, headless cross is one of them.
