I'm super excited for both the barefoot Stockman and the barefoot African Trooper. I've resoled several pair of workbooks over the years close to zero drop but that always fights the design somewhat. I discovered the African Ranger this last year and am several months into working in them as a professional window cleaner in Seattle. They have the best grip to be up on roofs or ladders of any footwear I've worn in 24 years of this occupation. My posture has been less taxed in them as well. I can honestly say that they have been life changing. I won't be surprised if Jim Green becomes the global leader in zero drop workbooks over the next couple of years. I suspect that you're in the perfect moment in time.

PLEASE make the 719 on the JG or STC last. The numzaan stock options are already on the ASHM last and those of us who need the toe splay would really benefit from the wide lasts that JG flourishes with. PS any ETA on the moc toe?

Your commitment to innovation is very impressive and what keeps me coming back to your brand. I am from Texas and own JG Razorbacks, which are my go-to work boots and the Buffalo African Rangers which I had planned to wear hunting and hiking but love too much to abuse as I had intended. My biggest issue is that I need to get another job to keep buying all of the boots that I want. Value for money, JG makes the best boots. Beyond that, your commitment to your customer's needs and amazing fast R&D is second to none. I work in U.S. manufacturing on the Logistics end and JG innovation is a refreshing break from the norm. just found JG 3 months ago. grabbed a barefoot Africa asap(im in eu), loved em since im like a EE soo wide boot are my game. now iv destroyed my feet trying to wear in a less than a week old Numzaan. looking forward to new pairs coming in to Europe in winter!. i dont think i can overstate how friggin happy i am having found an African boot i can get in Europe that fits my wide feet. i have some connection to kenya and from the start just wanted a pair of vellies for summer like i had down there.

My barefoot african ranger boots are the most comfortable footware i have ever worn. After 1 week breaking in. So comfortable i got a second pair, 1 for work and 1 for walking. Absolutely love them. Bought a pair of numzan for winter working and am curently breaking them in. would have liked a barefoot version of the numzan, i find the barefoot last fit perfect for my feet, nice and wide, i have to go 1/2 a size up for the numzan last and it makes the heel a bit loose. Thanks Jim Green. My feet and i are really grateful.

Love what you guys are doing. I bought a pair of barefoot rangers last and am wearing them a lot more than I ever expected to be. Almost everyday they seem to be the right thing for what I'm doing, and I own a LOT of shoes, so I have other options. I'm really looking forward to getting a pair of barefoot Stockman's. Hopefully I can custom with bronco brown.

These styles are fantastic across the board. Well done, Jim Green! I'm really digging both Stockman models and the Trooper is so cool! One thing that breaks my heart a little bit is the yellow tag by the gore on those beautiful Stockman's. Personally I'd try to figure out how to cut those off without damaging the boot.

It has answered some questions that I had so keep up the good work guys! Oh yeah, please run a sale or offer premium versions of your Shoellie not everyone needs a hard as nails boot. Would like to see more options for steel toe boots. I highly recommend Jim greens to all of my coworkers but it’s hard to recommend the steel toe razorbacks with the lug sole for concrete floors. Any steel toe with a wedge sole for us factory workers would be great. I ordered a pair of steel toe stockmans with wedge sole and they’re much more comfortable

@@Fuperbooper They only make 1 steel toe boot. The Razorback. They make many boots with the Steel Toe Cap last. None have a steel toe cap.

Well I use a custom orthotic on my Steel toe razorbacks and I’m on hard surfaces all day. You need to find an insole with good shock absorption. It’s the texon that use to reinforce the boot that creates a hard surface. I would suggest getting a steel toe razorback with a leather insole, midsole and the mini lug outsole from the baobab boot. You’ll find it mitigates the impacts very well as well as adjusts to your foot shape. And remember Jim green always said “ you can customize anything we make so long as what you want is anything from any boot off their lines”. In short they’ll do whatever you want provided you have the money and they have it in any of their boot lines.

@@matthewcaughey8898 I recommend everyone on concrete floors to get good insoles no matter the boot. The issue is good insoles are going to add $30-60 to the price of the boot and you’d be surprised how many people would rather purchase another boot that already is more comfortable out of the box. I personally have a set of thick Sole brand insoles in both of my Jim Greens and I couldn’t be happier with them

the numzaan looks good but i really did not like the straps/hooks from the african ranger on it and always thought that you should make a shorter ar8.(though the african rangers are very good work/field boots) the 719 will be an immediate buy from me, it just looks perfect! in the meantime i think i’ll buy another pair of town and country‘s. i wish you would make a video on them

That bronco brown pullup leather looks amazing! The houston brown looks great as well, but I prefer non-roughout leathers, smooth full grain houston brown will look exceptional on something like the stockman to wear to the office. Personally I prefer the more traditional look of boots such as the 719, so I cant wait for that! Now I cant decide between the AR8, 719 or stockman.

I'll throw my vote in. I prefer leather all the way for the footbed. I'd love to see a squishy outsole that is nice and thick (probably the tyre wedge i suppose), built as an 8 inch shaft height. I think that is the perfect all-rounder boot for me. It would do well standing on concrete, could be knocked around in the woods, thick enough outsole to stand on a ladder if I had to, tall enough shaft to keep my common debris out (weed-eater grass or small rocks off a hiking trail). I think that is just a perfect boot that your average guy could be happy with for almost everything he might need to do.

Great work on these, the more I see from you the more I love jim green as a company. With so many possible combinations I hope you put some work into really streamlining custom orders as you expand, I think that can be a big market for you in the US despite the challenges (lets face it, us americans can be picky sometimes 😆) Personally something on my wishlist is a pair of barefoot shoellies

Great video! Big JG fan from here in the Eastern Cape Mountains... Could you perhaps do a video explaining the different rubber compounds? Looks like the tyre sole and anvil is the same material? How does that compare to the normal AR sole? I've got a pair of ar's and razorbacks. The razorbacks are just a bit hard under foot, maybe the tyre sole will work better? Thanks!

Very cool jacket/shirt (shacket?). Would love to see a bronco brown razorback with the jg tan lug sole. I think that would be a very cool combination. I just wanted to edit this to add I would be happy to at least be able to build something like this for a custom order. I walk/run almost 4000 km per year for work and I really need that midsole to last, but I can understand that most people wouldn't want a 'premium razorback'

I really hope the Barefoot Trooper gets added to the custom options. The panelling and style is just unmatched. Even though I like both barefoot and regular boots there's a lot of people who hate the barefoot aspect of the Troopers and would like it with a normal lug sole and a different last. It would definitely sell like crazy.

I like the look of the 719 boot. Kinda reminds me of the red wings lineman boots. I am not fond of the speed hooks and would prefer eyelets all the way.

Theses are great looking boots. Would you ever consider a steel toecap version? I have to wear steel toe but struggle to find any wide fitting shoes Also would you do the bronco brown slip on barefoot?

Already ordered a pair of Barefoot Stockmans and looking forward to delivery! Will Jim Green one day develop a safety toe boot on the barefoot last? Or have it as a custom option?

Will any or the Bronco leather and tyre wedge soles be available in the UK. These would really suite uk conditions.

Just curious if any of these variants would be available on the US amazon store. It seems like it could just be uneconomical move, but I'm curious.

Actually, Fulfilled By Amazon helps a company with maintaining stock and increased sales volume. Amazon reaches a market segment which they cannot reach on their own. They have no real marketing schematic other than online influencers. I don't see them pushing their boots at trade shows, outdoors shows, motorcycle shows, etc. No brick and mortar retail presence. They're not sponsoring hunting tournaments, motor cross events, shooting competitions, or cake baking contests. They don't have a distribution agreement with Snap On tools, All Industrial Electric, White Cap, or any other supplier to job sites. They're not available to public safety via Galls Aramark. Jim Green has made zero inroads to the blue collar workers who will actual buy these boots. Instead, he gave some boots to a guy online, who cut them in half.

Any info you can share on the slip resistance of the new wedge? I need it for work in kitchens and haven’t found a JG sole that fits the bill yet.

I was gonna grab the buffalo barefoot Ranger, but now I’m sold on the bronco barefoot Rangers. I might need to get some of those barefoot Stockman boots.
