It’s WRONG that we pay £92K per YEAR to a politician- and give them an ‘expenses’ account to put EVERYTHING on for free. Everyone MUST eat to live- so why are politicians getting free food? Any other job the person would have to buy their own food, so why not politicians? They should maybe get TRAVELLING expenses, but on £92K they shouldn’t get anything else for free. I was in Waitrose the other day and ALL the steak was covered with a white screen!! So I would have to ask a member of staff if I could find one to open it and they stand there while I selected my steak. I walked away. They'll be saying next that people are no longer buying meat.

I use to be a room attendant and cleaning the rooms after people from certain countries were often awful. Some nationalities aren't respectful and are very unclean. I ain't saying which they are but most come from the countries where most of the immigrants are from. One of my ex work colleagues has actually cleaned one of theses hotels and she said it was awful. The rooms smelt, they had no respect, they were often rude and threatening. She refused to do the cleaning in the rooms of immigrants.....

Tesco has always hiked prices of popular items up in a shortage or cost of living crisis.Then they put their cheap awful low standard items that taste awful. They are renowned for being over loyal to greedy shareholders (allegedly).

There are multiple articles and studies showing that young, educated Brit’s are leaving the UK to start better life in the US, Canada, Australia etc. because of quality of life, better wages, etc. I’m an American who’s lived in the UK Her whole life and up until about 2020 I thought it was a good place to live but now I’m doing uni and after I finish I plan on moving back to the USA, yeah it’s not much better but it is somewhat better then here.

Now that is just standard Tesco pricing tactics. They do it all the time. Take an item at 1.99, raise the price to 3.25 for a few weeks and then put it on “special offer” for 2.50. Looks like you are getting a bargain, but actually are still paying more than you would have originally. Amazing!

I have lived in Malta for almost 7 years and came back to Poland this year and I am astonished how my home country has progressed, the roads are flat as a table, new buildings, the houses are high quality, the neighbourhoods are clean, it is safe, the quality of living is good. I am surprised that my British friends considering moving to Poland.

What cracks me up about the NHS is when these consultants go on radio/tv and say the NHS needs at least another £2 billion. hahaha If I were in government id openly ask the NHS how much they needed to get things out of the utter sh*thole they are in and id do it live on TV. After Id given them however many more BILLIONS they needed they said, yup, with all those BILLIONS the NHS can now function properly Id say ok fine there ya go.I would put my house, my car, even my kids if ya like that in 12 months time the NHS would be in sh*t street again!! Like councils around the UK, they WASTE millions and millions of taxpayer's money daily. I know this because ive worked for 2 local councils where I used to live and they over-employ office staff. My local depot had 15 office staff, in a private business they wouldve easily functioned with just 8 staff. When you multiply that by every single council around the UK thats BILLIONS in just wages that they spend [waste] and dont get me started on how slow they work and how much materials they waste every single year! As I said to my missus, if the council were a private company theyd be bankrupt at the end of every financial year!

Today I put in a £3 expense claim 😂 but then I do work for a company who made a £10mil profit last year and I'm currently facing redundancy because they need to make a £6k staff cost savings.

Instead of complaining all the time, start taking action people. Take responsibility for the UK, get a job, create a job, run for the mp, councillor, whatever. Do something. Stop being idle. Send emails to some institutions to start fixing things. Mobilise others. Just do something. And stop spreading negativity, take positive action, stay positive, and work hard to change the future. Everything can be improved, there just needs to be a will.

I'm in Spain , the communal bins are emptied every day, there's no crime , or rats.. 10 euro for 3 months train travel, always on time, emergency medical centres you can just walk in . Not many migrants as they get free medical and 50 euro a month here. Why can't we do the same

I remember coming to this town over 20 years ago and the idea was being seeded into the minds of these people that we should have a traffic free high street. I was the only one who said it was a bad idea, saying it would lose business. Now here we are in the present and nearly every town across the country seen many boarded up shops. In our town the reverse has happened and shops that were long vacant 20 years ago are now thriving businesses and all the shops are populated. They never went ahead with the plan.

A few weeks back, the council repaved the stretch of road just outside of my home, removed all the potholes, smooth as butter. And here's the rub: Said road, is the A10, not a road just off the A10, it IS the A10, and only re-did a small portion of it, about 300 yards, if that, and finally, why did they do it? Because a bike race was coming through the area, and they realized that the road was unfit for vehicles... go figure

20 zones are kinda hard for vehicles to do your ider in 2ed gear in high revs, which btw is great for the environment. Or your in 3ed gear and risk stalling. Vehicles are really designed to cruise at 30.

im having an ltn block on my road, however in my case it actually will improve our situation as everyone bypasses our highstreet by speeding up our road. I get why people are annoyed with ltn, however there are definitely benefits as well in certain situations.
