To me your video only leaves one interesting point open related to the periphery of an installed lock: How does the lock operate when installed in a door? My 666 is extremely easy to pick in one direction while it's pretty annoying in the other direction. So can the lock be picked into the easier direction (let's say that is ideally the locking direction) and then turned the other way with a plug spinner... Does the mechanism in the door allow picking it a bit beyond closed?
Thank you for your kind words sir! It is an interesting point you make. I dont know how the lock is mounted in a door but Fichet could certainly take advantage of the fact that picking in one direction is harder by limiting the ability to use a plug spinner and making sure the appropriate groove is used for the given direction that the lock needs to actuate the mechanism.
After you make a double rotation to fully lock the system on standard door locks for Fichet 666, you can still rotate the lock a lot. In the lock I checked, which is a basic inside the door lock, the latch interacts with the locking mechanism at the top, when the key is rotated nearly 180 degrees, so it's normal there is plenty of room for some extra rotation when it is double locked. Maybe other design may limit the rotation more, but I think it will still be enough to tension and pick it.

Yes I would assume like sfic in the sense that there are two "shear lines" and all the gates have to align to the correct line. however the interaction between the sliders may be more complex than an sfic. In the sfic each chamber is somewhat isolated and in the 666 the sliders are a bit linked by their shared sidebars. I havent picked a mastered 666. Thank you for your thoughtful comment
