I am enjoying the extra BSU commentary and debate. There are a few RU-vid channels now to fill my bronco addiction. Thanks for doing this fellas. I wouldn’t say like three old ladies, although that comment was funny. More like three old friends. Old ladies don’t talk trash to each other and then make them do an ice bath for saying something stupid. Old friends do that. And talk over each other. Still was a funny comment though.
I 100% agree with Mark about scheduling Idaho annually. Financially, that would be the easiest, slam dunk sellout regardless of how good either team is. Furthermore, you don't even have to go to Moscow to return the favor. Just invite the Vandals every October for homecoming, pound a win to make the fanbase happy about state supremacy, and print money. Other than Kustra and his personal beef with the Vandal fanbase, I have yet to hear a coherent explanation why this isn't automatic. BSU could also host Idaho in basketball on New Years Day annually and similarly, print money. 💰
Given the landscape with the portal - how about this: BSU makes agreements with a few P5 schools to serve as their development program. It would be a P5 school, the player, and BSU agreeing that the student who needs development comes to BSU to build skills with the expectation of going into the portal to return to the P5 school now a developed player.
