Love it. I didn't realize the added the wind. Can you tell me how much wind noise and at what wind speed and the rate of charge? I would love one as back up for longer passages and being on the ball. :)
Hey Kimberly, I have not run it as windmill yet, that said if you are on passage, you are probably getting more from it by just tossing it off the back end. the wind version is probably more useful at anchor. They have a pole-mount kit, and also a swivel and windvane kit, I would probably modify the swivel a good bit as its flimsy by passage standards. Don't know how "noisy" it is yet, let me figure out how to hang it first :-) BTW you can use a SAE two-to-one splitter to get more if you want and have an extra unit that can also run by itself.
Pretty neat device Bo, although it looks like it'll gather trash in the blades because of the grill being on the back side, and how do you mount it up when it's in wind mode, I don't see an easy way to mount it for wind use without having to modify it. Your composition is good, distance from the camera looked right on, thanks for taking to time to put this video together Bo.
Hey RC, YES Im still here, I have changed, beard turned grey. but yes hope to be getting back in the routine over the summer getting some drone videos up, but also growing my sailing channel with 360vr content ru-vid.com/show-UCHq8X5-qmxoWiQc7DhVF26Qvideos
LOL - you spying on me? actually there is a BetaFPV 360pavo that need a unbox / review - feel that have to be done in 180vr. Im seeing more users in that niche - but its not going to beat smartphone views the next decade me thinks. PS. most vr content goes here ru-vid.com/show-UCHq8X5-qmxoWiQc7DhVF26Qvideos
Dont give me ideas thats going to get me in trouble - but incidentally...... the new birds are charging via USB-C sooooo at the very least it can put a charge on a M3 ;-)
The VR effect is cool. I only get 180 degrees, not 360. If thats what you were going for it looks good. Holding the part close to the camera looks good.
Wohooooo.. somebody watched in goggles? you are correct this was shot in 180-3D (not 360) Putting 360 videos up on my sailing page here ru-vid.com/show-UCHq8X5-qmxoWiQc7DhVF26Qvideos
yes it have - more stuff coming :-) BTW check out my sailing channel which is mostly experimenting in VR video.. ru-vid.com/show-UCHq8X5-qmxoWiQc7DhVF26Qvideos
