This film is not talking about the past days when people survive their life without water or they fulfill their needs with little water. It also talks about our upcoming days. If we are not conscious how to preserve water then again we have to face such difficulties or it may be worse that 1869. I am very much grateful to director and all his companions whose little effort gave us a important message. After watching this movie people must be conscious about the preservation of water.

These thoughts were echoing in my mind when I was watching the film. My heart bleeds to see how water is abused just because it's inexpensive, how taps left running in sinks, how much water is used in bathing when half a bucket is enough, how cars are bathed in water, how verandas are washed as if things are more precious than living beings.

Nostalgic! बहुत सुंदर प्रस्तुति ❤️ मैं जितना अपनी धरती अपनी संस्कृति के इतिहास में जाती हूं जितनी पीड़ा होती है उतना ही गर्व भी होता है। आज राजस्थान ही क्या समूचे भारतवर्ष में कहीं अकाल नहीं पड़ता बल्कि बाढ़ आती है वो भी जनजीवन प्रभावित करती है, परंतु जितने कष्ट हमारे पूर्वजों ने सहे उसको हमने अनदेखा कर स्वयं प्रकृति का और भी नाश कर दिया। आज हम अन्न जल की बरबादी कर रहे हैं।

I remembered a recent news of this year itself, an old lady with her grand daughter moving to another village, they took shortcut bcz they have to cover the area by walking only and they had no means of food and water, lil girl died of thirst in the way itself. 😭 Even today same situation exists, but still we ppl just take our blessings for granted. I hope ppl get the straight msg and react on it their whole life 🙏

This movie is so real. The couple went thru so much. For what? A basic need like water. They struggled intensely. At last their efforts bore fruit. But at the cost of losing the young man's life, causing so much pain & trauma to his young wife. This movie should be screened for businessmen, industrialists & politicians. Otherwise the haves will come to know the pain of the have nots.

Today, I learnt about my background. I used to hear from my mother that we belonged to Bahawalpur but still we are Marwaris. After watching this movie and seeing google map, i learnt my predecessors suffered two major community migrations. 1: The great Famine of 1868 when People from Princely state moved towards Kolkata or greener pastures like areas close to Indus River and then the Partition. So we as a community migrated twice in just 100 years, Hats off to the makers of this movie. I just got lessons for my life regarding what are my origins and the very nature of migration in my blood.

गौरव भाई और उनकी पूरी टीम को हार्दिक बधाई और शुभकामनाएं। हमारे देश मे आज भी बहुत से ऐसे गाँव है जहाँ पीने की पानी की बहुत समस्या है महिलाओं को 2,3 किलोमीटर पैदल चलकर पीने का पानी लाना पड़ता है। इसलिए पानी के फ़िज़ूल खर्च को रोके ओर पानी बचाये अपनी आनी वाली पीढ़ियों के लिये। गौरव जी आपने रियल दर्द को जिस प्रकार पर्दे पर उतारा है काबिले ए तारीफ़ है। इस फ़िल्म को देखकर ही पानी की महत्ता समझ ले तो फ़िल्म का उद्देश्य पूरा हो जायेगा। एक बार पुनः पूरी टीम तहे दिल से बधाई और शुभकामनाएं मातारानी का आशीर्वाद सदैव आप ओर बना रहे।

It is very sad, thanks for showing the relaity of famine in 30 minute. We wasting water like nothing. I had really bad experience in Rajasthan. In 1996, when we were in India and toured to Rajasthan with family, wife and two young daughters (Krishna -4 yrs (in picture - now she is doctor) & 3 yrs old (now Occupational Therapist), both married this year and their husbands are doctors) , from Agra, we were planning to go New Delhi, but Krishna get sick and we decided to come back home.While travelling back, near one village in Rajsthan, our car tire get punctured, spare tires was also flat, so tires was took out, driver and my nephews took tire to get fixed. My daughters wanted to go for bathroom, my wife took to the nearby house, the young woman show bathroom, while my wife open the door, old lady come and pushed away my wife and daughters and closed bathroom and told that you can go outside and didn't let them use bathroom, both daughter were borned in USA, so they do not go bathroom outside... It was very sad, but as soon as we entered in our home state Gujarat, it was a huge difference, people let us used their bathroom and even help to get medicine for my daughter...That day I had a really bad impression about our indian, specially Rajasthan peoples, usually north western state are good, anyway, I guess we may had chose the wrong house. in USA, people may don't like you but still they are very helpful.
