Great video mate. I love your channel you make me laugh so much with your humour 😄. The pad set looks good and you did a really good and honest review of them. I like to use my wrist and elbow pads but barely use my knee pads. You had a grwat session with your new pads. Keep progressing and keep smashing it 👊🔥🔥🔥🔥 p.s. those shuvs were pure fire!!!!!

Thanks bud, that was my goal, to be as honest and unbiased as possible. it can be hard to be fully objective when you've spent money on something and you want it to be good so you haven't wasted your money 🤣 So far I think I'm the same as you, unless I start skating bowls etc I don't think I'll use the knee pads a lot, famous last words lol

I don't know what your blabbing about yours shuvs are awesome! Lol you've got them down pretty good! Having said that I did notice your confidence level jump that much more with the pads. Great review my dude! Really enjoyed the video!

Thanks bud they're definitely getting better since I've been working on them! Yeah the pads help a lot, gonna have to get out of my comfort zone a bit more now I have them 😁🤘

Great vid, got myself some decent knee pads after doing in my MCL, and muzzled the screaming palm with some wrist guards too, tried both, the ones you've got , and ones similar to the one in link below, the ones you have feel weird and can't use your hands very well,. But the other flat skid plate style ones are great, helps to slide and turn energy to momentum, rather than impact. Tried and tested with a failed drop in from 4m+ vert ramp landed on wrists aswell as other parts no injury atall, lucky I know but wrist guards did their job.

Great video mate, I’ve never really used pads but I’m very tempted to pick up some knee pads to push me to start skating some bigger bowls and half pipes. Awesome to hear your thoughts. Killing it with the shuvs both ways and the rock Fakie. Just shows how confidence is key.

@@SkateboardingWithYerDa I’d be the same, wouldn’t want to spend a load just to find I can cope with wearing them 😂 I’ll probably pick up the same ones as you at some point.

@@KieranClarkSkates yeah exactly, I suppose it's the same as getting a £150+ setup for your first board before you even know if you'll stick to it. Even though £50 completes usually aren't the best if you get the right one it'll do fine for starting out 😁

Nice dude, I like the thinking, the more you can not worry about messing yourself up the more you can commit, was thinking dunno if the knee pads under trousers or with shorts would make it better? I suppose at the moment the jeans have to crinkle underneath so might add to the discomfort maybe? Looks like they did the trick though the rock -Fakie looking sick! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Thanks dude, yeah that's the plan 😁 tbh the knee pads aren't too bad, although that's definitely something worth thinking about. My only worry is I'd be more concerned about ruining a good pair of jeans than landing a trick 🤣
