Hi Karl, I have an inquiry. What should I do with my 485 visa that is in process while I lodge my 189 visa application? Do I have to cancel my 485 application after I lodge my 189 application? Or I can keep both application to be proceeded?

Hi Leng no, make sure you keep the 485 visa processing going and have it granted. It is a long wait for the 189 visa processing so you will be glad later to have a multiple entry travel visa while you wait. Thanks for watching

While it is understandable to wanting to increase your chances of success by submitting multiple EOI applications, isn't it risky to submit multiple applications for the same visa, which I've heard can have negative consequences.? As I have heard submitting multiple EOIs for the same visa subclass will not improve your chances of being invited to apply for the visa. In fact, it may have the opposite effect, as it can be seen as an attempt to manipulate the selection process, and can result in all of your EOIs being rejected. is this true? Thanks

Hi, Feb2024, For Victoria, I have submitted single EOI & single ROI by selected both visa types 190 & 491. For me 491 visa is enough. I can edit/update my EOI and remove 190 and keep only 491, but I did not do, because another issue here, Vic is already removed/stopped 491 visa apply in their ROI website so if I withdraw ROI then I cannot resubmit new ROI only for 491. 1. So can I keep those single EOI & angle ROI by selected both visa types 190&491 Please suggest thanks

Thank you so much for these incredibly informative videos! I've only recently subscribed, and I've already gained so much valuable insight. I have a couple of questions: 1- Is the recommendation to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) every month still current, given the time this video was created? 2- Additionally, I'm curious if it's possible to update an existing EOI after it's been submitted. For instance, if someone initially uses one citizenship to apply for the 189 visa, and then subsequently renews their second passport (which wasn't utilized in the initial application), effectively maintaining dual citizenship, could they update their EOI to reflect this change? Thank you again for your fantastic content and expertise!

Dear Karl, Thank you for creating the awareness. I have 2 quick questions: 1. My existing EOI will expire in next 5 months. Nothing changes in my experience, skills, points. Can I have more than 1 EOIs for 189 Visa catagory with same ACS results, points, skills.. ? 2. I get 70 points for 491 visa including my partner and 60 points for 190 visa including my partner (not sufficient). I was wondering should I go with 2 different EOI - one EOI for 491 with my partner (70 points )and one EOI for 190 visa (65 points ) as a single in order to reach 65 points. Eventually we can figure out a bridging visa in the future if I get 190. Do I even have a chance for 190 visa with 65 points only or maybe it is better to go only for 491. I am quite confused. Well that is not likely on the regular monthly invitation rounds and remember the quarterly one is manually selecting. Every month does not hurt, just remember to delete all the others once you get an invitation. Thanks for watching and supporting our channel

Hi Nee, for 189? Not much of a chance for a while we think. However if you have a particular skill like Medical Scientist, they have already received invitations lower than these points.Thanks for watching

Vipin state sponsorship does not work on the same principle, so no it would not really work to your favour unless the states move towards a first in, first chosen system

@ailsaustralia Question: for 190, should you register multiple EOIs, each for an individual state you want? For example, one for VIC and one for NSW, so each state thinks you only want them?? Because in some of your videos you mentioned the applicant's chance becomes lower when states see you selected multiple states.

But What if my Acs Skill assessment expires then none of the eoi will help me. I mean as soon as you update your documents you get back in queue. My skill assessment expires in 2 years

Hi M, do not worry. By updating documents does not change your date of effect. If your points change that alters your date, not upgrading your ACS assessment. Make sure you keep it up to date along with English and anything else that matters. We have made a video on this topic. Thanks for watching
