Drilling holes in 2 glued (onto each other) strips, and solder the wire pieces all at once at a) 3 holes, b) 4 holes (after separating the 2 strips) using bended u-profile piece of the strip for equal distances, waaaay faster. Would have gone for the classic hinged clasp myself though
