It's all sort of stupid if you think about it. I mean it's a little better now that they actually limit the cards (even if it's to 999) instead of printing 10,000 of each card back in the day. But even then, I can give you a piece of printer paper numbered 1/2 and it doesn't mean that it has any value. I think the autos are cool but other than that nothing really has value. If people have fun doing it then I can't knock their hobby. But just don't collect cards thinking you're going to make any type of money. That's why I'd prefer watching people open the cool cards online and save my money for something more valuable to me like vacationing or actually playing hockey.
@@alexandermilentis2130 that is why they call it a hobby. Some people put a lot of money in to their car, lower it, fancy wheels. I think that is silly.some people go on vacations to shit hole poor countries and leach off the poor as they lay on the beach getting drunk. Not my bag. I like to open up packs of cards with my young son, because he enjoys it as much as I did when I was younger. Life can be shit. Find something you enjoy doing and do it. But no need to knock someone else's interests.
YaAayyyy, Zerreeeeee!!!! Nick Suzuki wasn't a player that the CH was developing, so he's actually a proficient NHL-er as opposed to the plethora of overhyped players. Thankies for the vid!!!
They are releasing a Credentials set for 2021-22 in a couple weeks! I'm pretty excited for it...the product could likely be a bit cheaper, but I think it's one of their better premier products tbh.
When UD announced the product, I definitely noticed the similarities to Contenders, especially the ticket access cards. First box was definitely better. Awesome video!
Really enjoyed that intro 😂 The first box was really solid I would say with a decent auto and low-numbered Olofsson, and those steel cards look pretty sharp.
As a Blue Jackets fan and season ticket holder, I liked the "Rookie Science" cards of Texier and Merzlikins. My best box ever was a box of Fleer 2001 Greats of the Game hockey. Every single pack had an autograph or jersey card in it. I remember some of the autographs were Marcel Dionne, Bryan Trottier, Gordie Howe and Mario Lemeuix. I can't remember all the jersey cards, but I do remember one was a Terry Sawchuk stick card.
Nice break! Sweet auto of Zadina! I don't know what to think of this product. For one I love the base cards, but i'm not a huge fan of the insert cards. Anyways nice video! Keep making great content!
So the STEEL CARD is not in every box, which means if you bring an electronic scale to the store you can most likely make out which boxes have them and scoop them up. I assume they are worth more than regular cards... Just saying...
That Zadina auto is sweet! Nice acetate card and debut tickets. The steel card is awesome, I believe they are made of stainless steel so they don't rust and give someone tetanus. The star cards are cool looking. Great video!
Between this and Allure which has grown on me, Upper Deck is showing some promise with these new releases. Not much hockey I enjoy out of the low end to mid releases outsides of SP Authentic but these seem to be some pretty neat releases. Think the box prices may be alittle high for both but it’s nice for the secondary market.
I got a Zedina star of the night auto in my box. I actually like how Upper Deck is starting to mirror some Panini products. Credentials and Allure are some of my favourite products this year
Hey, I just found a Max Pacioretty "red glossy" Top 25 parkhurst card. I cannot find that "same red glossy" card picture nowhere on internet. I only find the regular card. Is that normal? Can someone explain me.
If you look at the Through The Glass inserts, they actually have a pretty silly design. The shot is of boards with the players BEHIND it, although the boards face the ice...
