Hey y'all, Thank you for watching another video. HAAA!! There at the end where I showed you the other painting? Well I guess you've already seen that I turned the camera the wrong way. lol And my tiny little studio still has a long way to go. please excuse the mess. Recipe
3 parts American Floetrol
1 part Golden Regular Gel Gloss
1 part water
extra flotroel if you want it thinned down more
1 part paint to 4 parts of this mix
for pigments I melt them in alcohol and add the mixture.

The Cream is White with a dab of Liquitex Naples Yellow
Matisse- Southern Ocean Blue
Pebeo - Irredescent Greenish Yellow

Pebeo- Irredescent precious gold
Winsor Newton - Windsor Violet
Old Holland- Irredescent Violet
Golden- Irredescent Pearl

I do have one of those mini blowers but had no idea there were attachments for it. I could use that, for sure. This painting is gorgeous! It’s different from the usual dutch pours I see with the design having two branches wrap around like that. With the split base, it’s a joy to look at. Well done! ❤

Beautiful piece! You could take down your air vent cover and place a piece of panty hose over it and then put it back up. That should take care of you dust and debris issue from the air vent.

Ronda, you really do some of the prettiest blow outs! I’ve struggled with the Dutch Pour for well over 3 years and have tried every blow drier on the market but I really think I’ve always had my paints too thin. I was Erica Hughs assistant during FAB Delray Beach and she used the same recipe that you do so I’m going to give that a go. Fingers crossed I can finally conquer this “looks so easy but NOT so easy” technique! 😊 Thank you for sharing! I’ll tag you in a video once I do one worth posting. Much love my fellow southerner! 🤗💕

I’ve watched a blow outs now and I think you have done the best with your placement of your paint. Doing the extra branches is awesome because then you don’t loose your colours when doing you blow out. Love it. 😍

I pray I can learn this. I’m new to this but I’ve been drawing all my life. You make it look easy. When you showed the camera your ingredients I couldn’t see the face of any product. I hope so badly I can do this right. Thank you for all your hard work

Oh, my gosh, you are sooooo good at the Dutch pour! the way you lay out the paint gives beautiful results. The original - the one on lay-away - has two little birdie eggs in one of leaves/petals at 27:39!!! How cool is that?

Ohhh NOOO Kathy, hun don't say that!! Yes you will. Try following me and using my recipe. Kathy I'll tell you the secret is lots of paint. Girl don't be scared of it cracking. It won't crack. It may take 3 or 4 days to dry. But you wouldn't believe how much paint that I use. That's how I get the flow. This mixture is a thicker mixture than most Dutch pour recipes. I have the smallest blowdryer too because i am working on small canvases. I decided to go with glue as my pouring medium because i am on a budget but will let you know as i learn. I have noticed that floetrol dims the paint colors and they come out not as vibrant. Thanks for your videos. I'm a watchin'. @@RondaThomison-vd9ek
