Just say "sodder". The English add the letter 'u' to every flipping word for no reason and then don't even pronounce it. They don't say "co-lo-ur" they say color. The Australians take single syllable words like "no" and turn them into 5 syllable words: "noahuhoh". Don't even let people give you grief about local pronunciations and sayings either. That's what makes us different and our differences make life interesting.
