I could imagine the work that must have gone on to bring the little baby back to the United States because of her being born in China, which I would think that by birth would make her a Chinese citizen.

I wonder how they got Leah home. Guess they would have to call the American embassy, explain the situation, and get her a passport before going back to the US.

this is the law in China people! (not to be mean) "Both the husband and wife must be at least 30 years old and under age 50. If adopting a special needs child, both must be between the ages of 30 and 55." "They must have fewer than five children in the family under the age of 18 years, and the youngest one should be at least one year old. (Those adopting special needs children will be exempt.)"

I studied abroad in Ecuador and volunteered at an orphanage while there; my dad spent a year of high school with his family in Japan - I visited there as well. It takes a lot of sensitivity towards other cultures and I find even the music played in some of these videos to be slightly insulting, not to mention lack of cultural understanding. I definitely wouldn't want my Japanese and Japanese-American friends here in CA to see it.

Two things stand out... How the Duggars support and even rejoice over torture of other God's creatures (e.g. those live scorpios nailed on a stick), and how Anna is all so emotional about visiting the orphanage, but insists on making her own babies instead of adopting just one of those homeless ones. But all in all a great family and great episode, as always.

Why are they too young? If they can support,love and give equal opportunities to three children they should be allowed and not judged for their decision to have more children. They've been married for four years for gods sake!

Yes of course they would, and it would be great. I didn't mean to be unpolite, what I'm saying is that most countries have a minimum and a maximum age to be able to adopt, I know a couple who adopted from China, and they wanted to try again but they were too old. I'm just saying that the law restricts the age in which you can adopt, but the Duggars can still concieve so they can have more kids anyway.

you like talking, huh? lol Michelle lost Jubilee well before they went to Japan and China..Anna has only found out at the end of the trip..So no Anna wasn't pregnant at the same time as Michelle.

I think Anna got pregnant with this baby and lost it then got prego again soon after

They have a job, a house, food, money, love, and clothing what else do they need?

they did not rejoice in the torture of those creatures but were amazed in seeing them, maybe for the first time. Any woman who can become pregnant with her own body and that of her husband would likely choose to do so. although us women are emotional in regards to the hurting in our world, we (I) would much appreciate my child being of my blood. If we could not become pregnant, we, (I) would adopt, foster if possible. There is no character flaw in appreciating the sacrifice of God's creatures

Praying about adoption isnt going to make it happen.
