I've known about dinosaurs since I was 4 yrs old, but it wasn't until recently (I'm 30 now) that I took the time to just sit and think about it. I tried to wrap my head around the fact that, at some point in reality, monster-like creatures roamed the earth. It's crazy. I get shivers every time I think about it.
T-rex is still here. We just call them Chickens and Ostriches now. The raptor has a descendant that's a cute colorful bird on a cereal box. It's crazy how these big animals descendants look so different. The Tasmanian tiger use to be gigantic and there were short faced Kangaroos
Michael Revilla they can protect you from anything.... Isn't that what everyone thought as a child? It was like your covers were stronger than Kevlar, or would keep you safe from the lurking monsters.
My Real Name They sead largest land mammal wich is wrong because the biggest land mammal is the Paraceraterium wich weigh's around 10 tons also i belive that the giant bear from the plane's of north america because it beat's the fuck out of cave-lion's!
@Lazlo Lorintz I know! How do they know its millions and not tens of thousands? Humans have onky been around for 6-7 thousand years. I love science but a lot of their theories dont make any sense.
Amir um this is before the stone age and such, do u really think we had race and all that then? and that bow and arrows would actually kill these things... half this crap is probably fake so.
For a channel calling itself "Facts Verse", you ought to check your facts. Andrewsarchus wasn't the largest mammal ever. Not even close. It was potentially one of the largest mammalian carnivores, but not largest mammals. Also, it didn't weigh 4,000lbs.
@@lanorhahughes3720 We hardly know what Gigantopithecus looked like. All we have are jaws and a few teeth. Bigfoot's alleged appearance varies too and it probably doesn't exist anyway.
"Humans, lived between 50,000 to 100,000 years ago. 6ft+ and 225 lbs.+, could organize in groups and fashion tools from its environment. Existing on all continents and capable of spaceflight. Possessing excellent long distance running and jumping abilities. Definitely didn't want to run into one back in the day."
@@jaycliinuy4627 You do realize we're listening to a man narrate facts about animals he claims we should be glad our dead like little sadists with the vocal intensity of the constipated love child of 50% off Rei and Henry Rollins, right? I don't think maturity is a priority here.
The Spinosaurus representation is from old speculation - they were quadropedal and the back legs would not have allowed them to rear up like that. Their bone/fossil analysis show they were aquatic like crocodiles and not land hunter/scavengers.
Wow... you guys need some new writers. Some of the verbiage you choose is not only repetitive but cringe-worthy. "If it still existed, the human race would probably become extinct." You can't know that. 1) Be objective. Focus on facts. Tell us about these creatures and what they hunted/ate, size, weight, speed, etc. 2) Avoid using descriptives like "terrifying," particularly when combined with modifiers like "extremely". We're not in grade school. We can formulate our own opinions whether or not we think something truly is terrifying.
+Hunter Broodboy Well I don't know about easily, people would die fighting these creatures. But with the weapons of today tanks, jet, nukes ect. We eventually could wipe them out.
The picture that u see there about the Pulmonoscorpius is actually a picture from ark survival evolved wich is a popular surviving game. Interesting that no one noticed that. But yeah that scorpion did exist.
@@rainyrrrr4183 Why would the marine and aquatic creatures have been destroyed by a flood. Typical of God to destroy creatures that were innocent and had nothing to do with the Fall of Man.
If you don't stop using the same words back to back. "This creature was a creature. This creature lived long ago. This creature was big. Creature creature creature."
"if this creature was still alive today chances are the human population would become instinct"... Riiiiiight cause we are soooo defenceless against claws and teeth with our guns, missiles and such...
Megalania still Exist! Fact: in Indonesia Komodo Island, the Komodo’s Grows all the time, it can grow to a size more bigger, it can be the size of the Extinct Ancestor, (Certain Information)
Gigantopithecus lived only 10,000 years ago but there’s been animals discovered that were thought to go extinct with the dinosaurs but people still refused to believe that Bigfoot’s actually exist💯
+Junior Zuniga Most of the Fossil Pokemon are based on prehistoric beasts. Along with Tyranitar, Aggron, Venusaur, Groudon, Yanmega, Garchomp and Haxorus.
Evolutionism is just another faith, that most scientist are used to believe, nothing blew from nothing to give life to everything, by nothing, and random bones made random skeletons based in the animals we have today with another one, it's very try hard
Gil. Guedin the vast majority of “prehistoric” fossils are larger versions of animals living today. I subscribe to the Hovand theory which suggests that the earth before the flood was surrounded in a layer of water outside the atmosphere which created a hyperbaric like affect, while also filtering out a much higher amount of radiation. This allowed animals, plants, and humans to grow many times larger than they do today. The reduced radiation levels are also why radio-carbon, and all other radioactive isotope dating methods are so horribly inaccurate. They are based on the assumption that radiation levels have remained relatively constant on earth. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say that Creation theory or intelligent design scientists make infinitely more logical and plausible arguments then evolutionary zealots.
idk dude these top 10 channels are lazy as fuck. There was a video on the richest where they were talking about elk and they put a picture of a moose on the screen.
Odds wouldn't be as much in our favor when we're still hunter-gatherers and never got the chance to develop to today because we keep getting eaten. There's a reason mammals didn't get very far while the dinosaurs were still around. Fight that thing with pointy rocks and sticks, then get back to me.
