A True Antique! After 120 years and it still looks great! Did perfectly on ALL tests (it was a 'fluke' that the bag aired up and clogged on the washcloth/grocery bag test 'Take One' but on 'Take Two' it did perfectly - so 'Take One' is Void). It would be more powerful on a high tank (wild on a flushometer) but even on this mock up low tank set up it still did epic! 10/10 = Perfect!!!
121 years is a gold lifespan for a toilet, especially front and forward trap models. I like the design on this model, like the tiny siphon jet that is in a sort of rectangular shape. This is very nice! Also is this your oldest toilet in your collection now?
I would have to assume this was either purchased at a salvage yard for the 1978 house, or was new old stock back at that time. This definitely made when toilets were 100% reliable compared to today with the cheap 1.6 junk.
Sorry I haven’t been really active on commenting on your account about rating toilet cause I was a bit sick but now I’m better so I’ll be commenting on your account more but anyways it absolutely did super pooper pooper looper awesome I have never seen any toilet on your account pass all your test
I messaged a person on Facebook Marketplace and arranged the pick up. Then I drove over on Christmas Day and grabbed met with him and made the exchange.
It had a normal round seat installed on it and it seems to fit just fine. I think the bowl is slightly slimmer than new ones so it looks like it should be elongated.
