I recently seen a restored 1910 Chase model D at the NE classic car museum. It’s a real treat to hear one run. Thanks for this video. I would love to drive one, but that’ll probably never happen. It must have been amazing to live in a simpler time of cobble and dirt roads where life had a slower pace..

I love this site: I joined this club a few years ago, But some of the member's were extremely unfriendly. I found an old reproduction 1901 Oldsmobile Curved Dash vehicle out in the Forest after the big Manton, California Forest Fire. I called and learned the lady in the Office was related from Missouri. But that only infuriated some of the men member's so I never rejoined when my membership came due. Well enough about that. My 1901 Oldsmobile is a vehicle I actually drive out on the highways and Byways supporting three different Fallen Warrior Programs as well as the Wounded and Homeless and Paralyzed veterans plus any thing else needing support. I do this all at my own expense because I could never find anyone who was willing to support my efforts other than a Congressman, Sheriff, and a hand full of friends and acquaintance. I am just recuperating from my second nearly permanent Death accident. I have been Code Blue over seven times representing my fellow Brother and sister Warriors. recognized by a congressman as well as President Obama for services rendered. I am not in it for myself, I pay for everything on my own. But I am again trying to restore my car after being wiped out and my falling Code Blue from being ran off the road on a Mission November 11, 2017 Veterans Day. I spent a month in Hospitals and Rehab. The money in my KIAHonorFlag.org Donation Box was gone and my box all busted up. I will replace about $75.00 as soon and I can get back on the road. My big problem at this time is I am trying to Restore what I have. I received some insurance of less than $5,000.00 and that is a drop i the hat of trying to completely restore the vehicle. When Head lights are close to 1/5th that if you can find them. I need a set of Barrel Lanterns in which I can adapt the John F+Deere Tractor double Beam Seal Beam Lights. I also have to rebuild the wood fenders as well as find good tires 4.00 X 28.00 with tube and liners for my bent out of line wire spoke wheels. I am not asking to receive any f these free, But I am asking you for your help in finding them. I know my car does not hold a candle to yours, But mine is Internationally Known all around the world and has survived so much that I am back from the dead to put her out on the road one more time. All you have to do to see mine is type my name in any manner you please on the Computer search engine. Raymond F Pittam Raymond Pittam, Ray Pittam, Raymoind F Pittam or in many, many articles about 1901 Oldsmobile's. I have kept the car in the spot lights. It has traveled on one trip of over 3000 miles in 2014 If you look really hard I think you have written in the past about it. I can't post photos on this site there is not that option. I need your support and help in finding Lanterns and other parts. My car to me is just as important to me as yours is to you. Maybe more because mine is a real on the working Monument, I wish I could afford a real one, But it would never hold up to what I force mine to do. It represents everything a 1901 Oldsmobile can with nostalgia, and high respect . Let's keep her running. Raymond F. Pittam @facebook.com or Raymond F Pittam @Google.com . 530-222-1948

A very old man told me in snow weather that they would wrap old ropes around the spoke wheels for traction! Interesting but he is long gone!

They could put it on early Laurel and Hardy episodes of 1920s.

Red, besides black is the popular color for the horseless carriage before they went all black, because the paint does dry quicker than any other colors.

Well, I mean, that really only goes for Model T's.

I will never say a bad word on a Ford T model. Ok it is at least thought out as far

This one appears to be heavily modified from what the patent drawings show of the production car of the time.
