The Browning Guru -- Scott Grange -- gives a few insider impressions of Browning new 1911-380. There are a number of good, solid reasons that this is The Right 380. Coming December 5, 2014 www.browning.c...
Not gonna make it in 9mm. That's not the point of the platform. 380 is proportionally smaller .45, unlike 9mm. This is exactly an 85% version of a .45 in almost every way. Making it a caliber other than .380 defeats the design and the intent. Browning invented both .380 and the 1911 so this is a marriage that has been a long time coming.
Too late. Tisas and Rock Island already made 9mms of those. Also- why wouldn’t you want a caliber that has similar ranges to the .45 but less recoil and more velocity while giving more ammo capacity?
I bought one of these POS cheap disposable guns.....DONT BUY, the polymer is so flexible I can squeeze it with only two fingers. It's not worth the 700 dollar price tag. Get something else don't waste your money, it's garbage.
I am willing to buy a browning 380. But I live in Utah and can’t even find this pistol on any platform that I am interested in. Buying online is an option, but is that my only choice?
