In July of 1916, the New Jersey Shore was gripped with terror. Separate shark attacks along the coast killed 4 people and injured another. The first attack occurred in Beach Haven. Five days later another incident took place in Spring Lake. The next two attacks happened in Matawan Creek. Not far away, another one followed 30 minutes later.
Nationwide panic ensued until on July 14th, when an 8-foot long great white shark was caught in Raritan Bay. No more shark attacks were reported along the Jersey Shore that summer.

Hi Brandon, thanks so much for your interest in the full video! If you're looking for the full 4-hour documentary, I had to take it down because I used 3 postcards that someone claimed was theirs. So I violated their copyright without knowing. I used them in my Wildwood video so I had to take that down too. I'm in the process of redoing that entire documentary along with with the 1-hour video that touches a little bit on every Jersey Shore town along the Atlantic. If you're looking for a longer version of the Shark Attacks, this one is a little longer due to video card at the end, that's all. I thought the shorter one was missing the interview part when I titled it. Thanks so much for watching!
