That does look fun. The sounds are not what I expect from a near 100 year old design. I will experience this tomorrow when I take ours out for a test drive after major service. Thank you for the inspiration. And that is a nice looking Speed Six by the overhead door.
When the car is fully stopped, the clutch pedal must be depressed and then hold the gear stick a little bit pressed like already start changing gear. Now you can feel, when the gears are fully stopped and only then you put to the first gear. No more cracks & booms and better for the gears.
