A genuine "Barn Find". This 1928 Chevrolet 4 door sedan National was driven into a barn 51 Years ago and left! We purchased this outstanding car and take a look at it on one of our trailers before it gets unloaded.....
I have a 1928 Buick Business Coupe that makes yours look pretty far gone. Mlne is all original except for the electric fuel pump I installed. You can see it on RU-vid.
In 1949 my father had bought a brand new Cadillac. A group of us four and five year olds where climbing on the car. My father told us we could not play around the car. Two days later a tow truck pull edinto the yard with what we use to call a jalopy. My father told me this is your car. you can do what ever you want with it. He had paid $10.00 for it. It was a 1928 four door Chevy, dark green, when we climbed on the roof is was made of canvas, which ripped and we fell through. I had that car for two more years and then it was sent to the junk yard. I still dream at night about when i was playing around with it, pretending to drive pouring water into the gas tank, The seats where cloth and got quite rank towards the end. I can brag that I owned my first car at the age of 4. I'm now 77 years old, I drive a 1985 Chevy pick up short bed and i have a 1974 Chevy step side on blocks. I've owned over 20 Chevy trucks, each where always more than twenty years old. I've owned trucks from1947, up to my 1985 being my newest. I wouldn't even know how to work on later model Chevy's.
