Needs pb gas or leded gas or the valve train gets worn. Not fixable Pb gas lubs the valve train and with out the Pb the valves wear out. Same problem with the 1970s muscel cars. Todays gas eats the engine. Tetraethyllead (TEL) was first fabricated for use in gasoline in 1923.
And also the timing for changing the gear from 1º to 2º was wrong. Double clutch pedaling should be faster and the throttle should match the engine speed with the car speed in 2º gear at the time of engagement.
I see a BAD water-leak under the exhaust (above the back of the generator, last one I had that leaked from the block, meant rust has eaten it away, the block WAS unrepairable !
I have the chance to buy the same make and model in similar condition, all original and running, except mine would have the optional wire wheels, for $6000. I could afford it but presently have no place to store it. If the owner can wait a while until I can sell another vehicle, perhaps we could make a deal.
