Always fun seeing one of those old engines come to Life. Got my U.S. Army 1952 Dodge 3/4 Ton M37 Cargo carrier running. Had to take off the Carb that the guy I bought it from said he rebuilt. You never assume he did a good job. Tore it down he never even put gaskets in between each section a fuel passive that had a spring it it was totally corroded and the spring was broken in 4 pieces and the tiny ball bearing was corroded in place. So I am rebuilding it I think he just put it in that caustic carb cleaner and never tore it down completely. Thanks for the video Steve great to see you working on a 1930 Model A.
So sick. Looks just like my ‘31 when my dad found it 43 yrs ago ☺️. All we did was clean it up and got it running and then threw a fresh Brown paint job on it 😝👌. Have a ‘28 Tudor that’s pretty rough but complete. Wanted to make a ratrod like you have done before , but Pops said no way 🤦♂️😫🤣
@@kayetaylor5551 haha yeah let's go ☺️😆. I so wish I could go I'd love it maybe one day 🙏🏻😁. that's cool from Scotland I'm from the u.k Norwich. don't matter who you are anyone can love anything hey . ❤️😆☺️👍🏻
This is Awesome 🤘 Can't tell ya how much of an inspiration you have been Mr Darnell. At the age of 36 I've sent myself to college to Weld, that open a massive opportunity for me. I completely changed my career... I'm am now a Welding Fabricator for Plant Machines at an industry leading company here in the UK 🇬🇧 One day I hope to thank you in person. As always... Much respect from the UK 🤙
We need more videos and longer for sure @SteveDarnell .. I’d rather watch your stuff than anyone else’s on here. Anxiously waiting to hear/see this town you speak of too brother!! Stay blessed!!
Love the builds and your respect to your family history and where you come from. Retirement is 2 years away and then I can give life to my rusty dreams. Take care and thank you for sharing
Wow, wonderful truck! Here in France I've a Citroen C4F 1931 in the same shape. Will start soon to make it running again. I love those years. Cheers man👍
