That’s cool Steve! We went to Pioneer Saloon at the end of July. Walked around town and saw your new place. No one was around or I would have stopped in.
FANTASTIC BLACK & WHITE PHOTOGRAPHY.. UNBELIEVEABLE. MAYBE NEXT TIME YOU COULD SEE YOUR WAY CLEAR TO INCLUDE SOME ACTUAL PICS OF THE TRUCK. JUST SAYIN.
Born in the 60's and raised in Cali. Retired year before covid and moved out of the country because I love Cali in its natural state but cannot stand what has happened to that state and the country. Built my own street rod. Bowhunter. My dad built race cars. About as American as you can be. But I do not recognize the New America. I looked at moving to off-grid locations etc. But you cannot escape everything happening around. you. Look forward to your shows and best of luck to everyone back there. Cheers!
Similar story my Dad was a Mason. I worked for him starting at 12. I lived in San Diego, and I can tell you how hot the rebar was there. Can't imagine Vegas.
Great to see ya’ back! Hey i ran one of those motors in an’ FL 80 years ago as a local P&D single axle tractor… amazing torque outta’ that motor pullin’ a 32’ box ‘round town!
You would get along great with my brother (mid 60’s). He is retired military and loves and has spent his life researching anything old and with a history. Obsessive but like you it’s what he loves! Keep chasing your dreams and if you can get the younger generation working with their hands more power to you! That’s a challenge in of itself. I myself am a long life gear head. I can’t wait to see this unfold!
Rob Myers spawn ranch rude uncalled for lingo the name's legendary like bingo on the paint job...lol hi 😅 2000 year test... Legendary 🏆 u know what's up 💪😎 back in those days when I was there couldn't restart time into 2000 years we started noticing stalker's so lightning Bail bonds bought white Vans like Sears vans...
I believe that all this is the answer that some of us find to get into a simpler time and life style that is very much needed in our country now. The values that have been set aside is really shameful but not forgotten by a few that are willing and able to re start again. Blessings ya'll from a very jealous patriot.😂
Hey Steve is that a 427 side oiler or a sohc motor? I seen you say it was a side oiler but the screen said sohc. Which maybe the sohc top end can go on a regular side oiler block I’m not sure I’ve yet to build either engine yet, they are on my bucket list but I’m sure you know how expensive they are so I’m gonna have to save up for that kind of build. But thanks I’d love to see the whole build on that car if you ever get the chance.
I remember the first time i went To Bodie, California... it was snowing, and it felt very strange, you could almost "see" the people who built it and lived there... No, those kind of places definitely must not die... so I have great respect for guys like you. You will keep the memory alive, and save the place and maybe make it grow, so everyone can see that all that was not in vain... Keep going !!👍
