Take a test drive & tour of this pre-war classic. Chevrolet's answer to the Ford Model A Victoria, Fischer JOB # 31572 was the 1931 Chevrolet 5 Passenger Coupe. This incredible antique car is restored to original down to the correct Apple Green coloured factory wire wheels. The interior is by LeBaron Bonney. This '31 Chevy is a classic car to be proud of. Out of 623,901 Chevrolet's produced in 1931, only 20,297 were 5-Passenger Coupes with the unique for the period trunk. You could pick one of these up at your Chevrolet dealer for about $600.00. Nice. I have a 31 Chevy 5 passenger sedan as well. In the family since new. Just over 29,000 original miles.

Chevy was ahead of the game with the 6 cylinder OHV engine. I'm waiting to hear back on a loan to pick up one of these babies for summer daily driving. I bet she cruises at 55 mph all day! With a tiny bit of work, I'd bet 80 isn't out of the question. Do these bad boys have pneumatic breaks?

I see Chevrolet went to a downdraught carter W-1 carb in the early 30's. Seems to run much better than most of the 1930's I've seen!

A 31 should have a up draft carb. The changed in 32.

I just recently sold to a good friend of mine, my '31 Special 6 Sedan, Boatswain Blue and Black, it also had the dual side-mounts and wide whitewall Goodyears. Regret selling but he begged me for years! Love your 5 Passenger Coupe, it has always been one of my favorite body styles. Great Job!
