My father owned a Vicki. He was a retired Navy Flight Engineer. He was only 70 when his Vicki wrecked from a loose tie rod, and a rod that was completely gone. The car had a fiberglass body, & a 1972 Corvette Engine. I rode in it one time. It was fast. It was the largest engine made for a Corvette. He passed away from the injuries he sustained 6 mths later. You Hot Rodder's be careful out there. Be safe and have fun!! Rip Daddy ❤️
Found another one these Bad Rides, beautiful 32 Ford, the guy who built this is a quality builder, this car is top shelf, you don't see alot of this model, I have a 1931 Ford, lotta changes in 32, first V8 for Ford, ultimate hot rod, thanks for taking us along on all these beautiful cars.
The 32 is one of my favorites. I had a 30 five window i was building years ago but life happens. It was a sad day seeing that car roll away. Thanks for the video!
I have to say.. that is a ton of engine for that car! I'd love to do one of these with my turbo TPI engine in it. Nice ride for sure. Thanks for showing it to us!
Back in the mid 60's there was a 32 Ford Victoria with a built 327 I used to see at the street drags in Los Angeles. What stood out about this Vic was it had a chopped top. I believe the front windshield was just legal at four inches. Never seen one since but will never forget how bad-ass it looked.
i'm not saying there is anything wrong with the chevy engine. i just feel that if you are going to build a car that nice you should use the same engine as the make of the car.
No..I agree that would be nice...but the LS motors which a lot of people are putting in are great motors...not to say doesn't make some great ones...but the LS's just fit well in everything...thanks for cking it out!
@ScottDTV I know that Vicky is quality work I'm just saying that just like the panel gaps or spacing the suspension is equally tight When you have a car like that Do you only drive it right after the street sweeper has gone thru town and cleaned the road.
beautiful car. but one thing i don't like is the chevy engine. a chevy engine belongs in a chevy. and a ford engine belongs in a ford. some people may disagree but that is my opinion.
Contrary to most of the vast history of hot rodding. There was a point in time where engine swaps were predominant. When the OHV Olds and Chryslers were the new thing and the answer to the low powered boat anchor flathead Ford. Historic hot rod engine but it makes anemic power.
Well..like they say...be veery...veery careful...lol...you couldn't drive this car in the North...but in the south the roads are smooth..my guess is that the coil overs would bottom out..stopping the fenders from hitting tires..before it rubbed..when you build cars at this level you think out everything...nothing is left to chance... Google Bobby Alloway sometime...this guy builds unreal Hot Rods...high..High dollar cars...trust me...they don't rub...
Lol dont you love it when we nick pick things? But we keep coming back dont we lol it is a great car but knowing me I would be out driving it and getting a ticket because I smoked the back tires a wee bit!!!!!LOL!
@rhigh100 that's like really saying it should be the original engine too because a new Ford motor is like a foreign language to a 1932 of ANY car ...and he wanted a new one....but he went Chevy maybe he's a Ford man with the heart of a Chevy man lol.
