1933 National Style O Steel Guitar | Rogo at Norman's Rare Guitars 

The guitar might have a particular sound, but it’s the player that makes it speak. I FELT your playing Rogo. That was the BLUES !

This stopped being a National demo about 10 seconds into the Robert Johnson and turned into a pretty mesmerizing concert display of a great purveyor of the blues, ROGO you rock.

What a voice on that National! Gorgeous!

This guitar is 88 years old. That's so crazy... and look how shiny it still is and sounds! Love Rogo by the way :-)

Just for clarification, it's a steel guitar in the sense that it was intended to be played with a steel bar and the earliest style 0 were indeed steel bodied, but in 1933 it would've been nickel plated brass.

The National is gorgeous, but Rogo, you're putting it to SHAME, girl! Love the red hair!

I feel quite angry against Mark Knopfler (though I'm a big fan) : before he had the stupid idea to put a National Style O picture, on his album "Brothers in arms", those guitars were cheap and almost forgotten : you could get one (playable and in nice condition) in many pawn shops, for $100 or $200... Today it's 10 or 20 k, for a genuine one (and frequently unplayable, without a massive restauration) ; arghhhh!. National guitars lovers DON'T THANK YOU, Mr Knopfler..
