Вот это я понимаю - ржавчина, вмятины - плюс к стилю. Не то что некоторые, которые трясутся над современными своими тазиками над каждой царапиной или треснутым пластиковым бампером.
I talked to a guy at a car show yesterday that had a rat rod way crazier than this and he said as long as you have the tools you can build a sick rat rod for under 6k
that is one awesome looking truck i'm planning one similar to it, but it will be deep blue, i was just thinking "please be a ford drivetrain..." then NOPE would someone please explain why people downgrade like this. you can pull just as much horsepower, if not more, out of a comparable ford engine.
He may have had a SBC chevy motor laying around, and that would be cheaper than buying a ford 302. And he may have found a good deal on a chevrolet. the fact is that SBC and SBF motors make similar power, so it really comes down to part availability, aftermarket presence, and reliability. don't hate. I'm planning to put a smokin' fast SBC in a '52 packard ratrod.
If you had to ask that kind of question, being picky about what motor to buy just to make it all ford, then most likely you arent going for a rat rod but more a street rod. He probably had a SBC laying around to use as they are much more available.
*EPIC rat rod. TERRIBLE music.* I never thought I'd say this, but that rod is so cool I don't mind the Nickelback :) I love the *bare metal with blacked out spoke tires*, it looks slick and industrial/raw at the same time. A RAT ROD YOU CAN DRIVE TO A NICE RESTAURANT! (Not that an ugly one would stop me :P.)
@@HotRodDirtys no doubt sbc are reliable. But its the worlds most generic uninteresting engine. Better choice for cool would be am old hemi or 409. It would make the car have twice the appeal
